I've used this kit to make about a dozen connections so far, so it's definitely solid & effective. The kit didn't come with any instructions, so using the wire stripper was frustrating at first, but things are going much better after some trial & error. The black connectors are built differently than the blue ones, but I'm not sure why that's the case. Are the black one for outdoors? Are they for different sized cable? Again, there are no instructions, so I'm not sure. Although the kit itself is excellent, there is a problem with training the human operator.

As a ex cable guy i have to say this did the job quite well. Cable feeding our modem got damaged and rather than pay the ridiculous fee the cable company charges for a customer damage service call i gave this a try. Worked great, rx and tx values stayed within range and download and upload speeds are exactly as they were before the repair. Cant say if they work with other fittings or speak to the availability of the ones it comes with but i dont need more so we’ll cross that road if we come to it. Definitely more cost effective than a service call.

At this price point I thought it would be a very cheap tool but it's actually very solid. Once I realized that the connector can move inside the tool and place my thumb on it as I compressed it worked just perfectly. The connectors feel like they're never going to come off and it takes literally seconds. Highly recommended.

I had to repair a broken coaxial cable. I bought this set to cut the broken bit of cable off, strip it back, and put on a new end. The tools worked as advertised. The stripping tool took a few tries to get right as I kept using the wrong size for the different layers on the coaxial cable, but eventually I figured it out. The compression tool is really cool. Eons ago I just used some pliers to crimp down a coaxial end, but this compression tool works amazing. I don't think this one is any different than any of the others, but just the technology itself is awesome. That's it. I don't see myself using this tool very often so I anticipate this lasting forever.

Tools were 4 out of 5. They were mostly fine if a little imprecise. Included couplings were maybe a 2. Four of them fell apart before or during the attempt to install and the one that worked gives me 20% signal quality measured at the router, worse than the 20 year old fitting I used it to replace. Will have to rebuild the cable connections again using a less disappointing set of connectors.

Just in time as I was using this product to move our wifi box from our bedroom to the attic. Product was easy to use, came packaged in a way that kept it from getting damaged, and came just on time. I don't know how often I will need it, but I am sure we will find multiple ways to enjoy this product!

The tools worked fine.

Very solidly built but I found it impossible to change the size for different connectors.

The package came with all I needed to get the job done. I had never cut a coaxial cable, would’ve appreciated instructions on how to use the cable cutter. But it got the job done 👍🏼

I am giving this only two stars because half of the package didn't work at all. The cable stripper tool was useless. It didn't work properly from the get go and I never figured out how the blade adjustment was supposed to work. When I tried an adjustment the little screws fell out. However when I manually stripped the cable and got the terminal on the crimping tool did work as designed. I don't feel I got my money's worth as I could have gone to my local home depot or canadian tire and just purchased some terminals that don't don't need crimping for a lot less money
