Bosch 1x PRO Metal Bonded Cut Disc f. Large Grinders 22.23mm, oSa

Bosch is very reliable and I've used their products for years.

I bought 4 of these thinking they would last as long as my previous discs (not very). Surpassed my expectations - completed the entire job with just one disc! I think this will be my ‘go to’ disc from now on. Extremely durable in my opinion and great value.

As a metal cutting disc this is very good - easy, clean cuts when new. Like all such discs it will wear depending on what you're cutting. I used on heavy galvanised tube so about lasted the job. Watch out for the disc breaking up and swap on to a new as soon as it's needed. Cheap enough not to risk your eyesight (goggles a must).

Long life

These Bosch discs tend to outlast cheaper versions. Used to cut mild galvanised steel box and bar and coreten sheet steel. 30/40 cuts from each disc.

It’s okay with my Makita

They work well

I purchased these to cut the re-bar in concrete posts. Alternating with a concrete cutting disk as appropriate. My impression is they 'cut' by overheating the metal as it glows red and then the disk passes through. So I'm not convinced it would cut an accurate 'line' in sheet metal albeit I haven't tried to. In the end I gave up on these and the concrete discs and used a multipurpose disk that cut through all parts of the post with ease and much quicker through the re-bar than this 'metal' cutting disc. In fairness I did not have a need to cut purely through metal so cannot comment on that application but I did 'clear' the concrete from around each re-bar before using this disc and that is the basis of this review. Update: I have just had reason to cut through an approx 2 mm hollow alloy tube and to be fair this disc cut through easily although seemed to wear down quite quickly. It cut a reasonably true line although quite thick as the disc is quite thick so for this job it worked well. So I may or may not consider buying again.

Fait le boulot pour un prix correct

Un excelente disco para corte de cualquier tipo de metales, uso profesional. Es para radial grande de 230mm. Yo lo utilizo para cortar mayaso, barras de hierro, etc. No sirve para pulir metales, pero para cortar es excelente y no se gasta rapido como otros discos de mala calidad. Excelente compra. Corte rápido y preciso. Usándolos como debe ser, dan el resultado que prometen. Me parecen super baratos incluido el envío!!
