After a lot of research, I purchased two of these. One for each vehicle. I had looked at the large jump starters, especially the all in ones, but didn't think they would be practical to keep in the vehicles due to the size. These are very compact and easily stored in the small compartments under the cargo areas in my SUV's. Another drawback from the large jump starters such as the Stanley or Everstart brands is that they require frequent recharging.As luck would have it, a few days after getting these shipped to me, I had an 8 cylinder SUV with a dead battery that would not even light the instrument panel lights. Hooked this up, and waited a few seconds, and it immediately started. A little while later, I jump started the vehicle again with this and it worked perfectly. After 2 jump starts the battery life was still at 86% on the jump starter.From what I have read, it is recommended to recharge these every 6 months. So far after owning these over 2 months, they are still holding 100% charge when checked. The great thing with these, you can hook them up to your USB charger in the car to charge them while you are driving, so you don't worry about bringing them into the house and forgetting to put them back in the vehicle.After my experience with these, I don't even feel the need to keep jumper cables in my cars. One nice thing about having this is you don't have to find someone else to jump you off. I know if I am stranded in a parking lot, the last thing I want to do is sit there vulnerable while waiting for someone to arrive to jump my car off. The included case is great to keep everything together and protected. Definitely recommend for anyone contemplating getting one.

I always had one of the older type heavy "mini brief case size" starters for years and it finally quit holding a charge. I saw this newer tech, but so small I was skeptical for my 2018 F150. I bought it....took few hours to charge it via USB plug that uses a standard wall charger (like iPhone). Put it in my truck noting it says to check every 90 days to recharge. The unit has a window and when you press the "On button" it shows its charge % status. 60 days later....My truck starting giving me the usual hint the 5 year old battery is near death....the hesitation when you crank it up. I figured better double check my new purchase and at 60 days I was still at 95% so I was good. My Battery died about 10 days later the other morning at home. I hooked the device up in just two minutes....and boom.... truck cranked up like it was a commercial battery starter! I was impressed. Charge still said 68% after the start assist so I went to the store to get a battery....it was dead again in the parking lot. Ugh! I attached the Device again and same fast start result! Unit went to 48%, but I am still sure it would have worked again before charging if I had needed it to. Got home, replaced my battery, and recharged the Device in just two hours. I recommend for all who like this type of device on board! Told My Sister about it....cuz its so small and easy to use I would show it to her. She was game and ordering one. Every Gal should have one on board to use as they are so small and easy to hook up that nobody gets stranded! Plus saved $100 over the large old school unit I had for years that cost me $139.99...! :>)

Having used traditional bulky and heavy jump starters the last 20 years or so, it was refreshing to see such a small high-tech unit that could do the same job. Not having to call the auto club and waiting for up to two hours for a battery jump is priceless. I bought this for an older (’97) Nissan Maxima because it had difficult to diagnose electrical issues that sometimes left the battery dead. This YarberAuto Jump Starter device has been used twice already and fired up the car each time. Needless to say, it will stay ready in the trunk of the car at all times.The only issue I have is that the written instructions are difficult to interpret without reading them several times. This is not a deal breaker, just requires more comprehension effort on my part.Overall, the unit appears to be well built and includes accessories/other uses such as flashlight with multiple modes, USB ports for power bank use, and USB Type-C cable for booster charger in a simple, laid out compact package with carrying case that is easy to use and protect.

So I drive an 05 Duramax diesel GMC truck that uses two batteries and being a diesel requires simply more power to jumpstart her. I knew this was gonna be a challenge. I almost went with the most popular device, but it just was not powerful enough. I borrowed one at AutoZone, it didn't crank my truck so I knew I needed more than a 1000 almost home with a 2000 but then I started doing research for multiple days because if I was going to do this it Hass to be a great unit because I might be in the middle of nowhere and that's gonna matterI am aware that one of my batteries is shot. I need to replace it but also wanted to test how cool these units are so I didn't replace my battery. I bought one of these units and I bought this particular one because it a higher capability and charge storage, it was rated to jumpstart diesels. I looked everywhere, and this was the best price for its large capacity capability a couple weeks later here I am my truck is dead. I broke out with it. I set it on the battery that's terrible shut out and it cranked my truck with a force that I could hear quickly immediately my truck started up it went from 100% charge to 87 giving me the confidence that perhaps I could get a few more jumpstart out of it before I would have to recharge it member less now that my truck is on I put it to charge on my cigarette lighter and it's already charging back up. It's up to 93% recharged by the time I finished this review I'm simply impressed by the product because of its capability, and its price point.
