Too wide to sip cocktails, you’d suck that little beverage down in no time. But great for drinking water, soda, juice, milk, sangria... They also don’t “float” out of my can of soda, like regular straws. I was able to successfully cut it shorter with a VERY sharp, sturdy straight edge; reamed the inside cut edge gently with some kitchen shears, and buffed the outside cut edges slightly on the wet stone. No problem in silverware basket, running through the dishwasher, but my heating element is concealed. The cleaning brush is included, but not packed inside straw pkg. The seller says these are recyclable, so they will not end up in my landfill when they wear out! They are very sturdy, but ever-so-slightly squeezable by using a bit of force-so the end could be misshapen by chewing...just for you I chewed (with effort) the end of one 50 times; It did not crack/break, but looks chewed and misshapen. I bought multi color pack to help identify whose drink it is. I chose this clear type to be able to see inside the straw for cleaning. Both sizes of my standard size grocery store straws fit easily inside these straws. These straws fit snugly inside a “7-11 Icee” straw. I think it would require a strong “sucker” and some extra time, to use these for thick, creamy drinks like shakes or smoothies. I am very pleased with these for general beverage use. Update: Have used and dishwasher-ed for several months will no problems.

I’ve had these for over a year and use them almost daily between my Tervis cups and my Starbucks cups (or the knockoff versions). They even are great for my daughter who has a habit of chewing on her straws, she hasn’t bent one yet and we’re at 13 months of owning them. We also put them in our dishwasher and they do great with the silverware. Plus side is that they are clear so you’re able to see if they need a quick deep clean after drinking smoothies with tiny seeds.

This was EXACTLY what I wanted. I was tired of using disposable straws and was wanting some reusable straws for at home. I didn’t even think there were different sizes (of course there are I just didn’t think about it ) I first ordered the straws on the right (different brand ) and they were way too tall for the cups I use daily. They were also “cheap” “hard” plastic ..... I didn’t want silicone but I didn’t want them to be like I was drinking out of a fragile plastic tube. So after I realized measuring is the key to getting what I want lol I measured and ordered these. These are PERFECT !! ( I put a standard reusable straw in the middle for reference ) The plastic is sturdy and strong but has a LITTLE “softness” to it, not like silicone soft but like “not super fragile dry plastic” . The straw opening is slightly larger than standard reusable straw (which I like - I use these primarily for smoothies) . They are easy to rinse out , come with a little straw brush , and are dishwasher safe. Would buy again !!

Awesome replacement straws for those big lidded tumblers, I was fed up of replacing the tumblers when the straws cracked or got chewed, so decided to replace the straws, very economical, renewed the life of some much loved tumblers that otherwise would have ended up in the bin. They have the rings to stop the straws from being pulled out and lost, and feel like good quality straws and the selection of colours means everyone is happy
