It’s generous in size and the grass is very realistic. I had to shoo my cats off it because they seemed to love sitting on it. It’s easy to rinse off and remove pet droppings. It works well on my balcony and provides a convenient alternative to going out in the yard.

Update- our puppy is now 5 months old and we still love this thing so much! I wanted to clarify that we have the large size, but we do have a small dog (8lb maltipoo). I think a massive dog would be too big for even the large size, but I’m not sure. Our dog has plenty of room to do his business on the large size. Once we were able to let him go on walks, there was no confusion of him going on real grass and he uses both options (our yard and this porch potty) with no trouble at all. If you aren’t using high quality pee pads under the turf (we buy the bully ones) it will most surely smell. You also must be diligent with changing those out and hosing the turf off, we do this about every 2 days. This option is still our preferred spot for potty because it is literally right outside our door. We have a new puppy and we were instructed by our vet to not let our puppy on the ground until shots are completed (several more weeks). We decided on a porch potty type set up and I chose this one because it came with 2 grass inserts. This has been amazing for us! We can hose one off and allow it to dry in the sun while having the other one ready to go. We rotate them every 1-2 days. I was really worried about it smelling on our porch and it absolutely does not smell! We use good quality pee pads underneath that lock in the urine and keeps us from spilling pee in the tray when cleaning. Clean up is a breeze, no smell and it is making potty training a lot easier! Our pup knows this is his potty spot now and I’d doing an amazing job! We have even taken this in our car, putting it in the very back and he goes perfectly on it there too. I also love that this product has extra drain holes meaning the grass doesn’t stay saturated with pee, it drains quickly and straight to the pee pad underneath. Highly recommend! We are hoping this product will make transitioning to peeing in our back yard easier when he’s allowed to do that, but will also keep this on our covered porch for when it’s raining as a second option. This product would be great for puppies who can’t yet go outside on the ground, apartment building living, a second potty option for rain/storms etc!

I'm a long-haul trucker. This is perfect for me. Dog uses it. Disposable pads can be purchased at Walmart or any pet store. Easy to clean.

Using this for potty training my puppy. The size is perfect and fits in the in the pen we are using when we are not at home. It comes with 2 grass inserts which is awesome because you can replace the grass while cleaning the other one. I highly recommend this for puppy potty training, dogs in an apartment/condo, to use during inclement weather, or if you're just feeling lazy and don't want to go for a walk. I loved it so much I bought a second one so I always have a clean one ready to go and when she gets bigger I can put them next to each other if necessary.

I really wanted to love this product. We just got a 3 month old newfypoo and are in the middle of potty training. It didn't take long for our dog to start using the product, the problem is maintaining the grass potty training pad/tray. The smell of urine would definitely build up if you don't clean it at least every other day. Personally dragging the large tray to the bathtub, cleaning down 3 layers of this potty tray definitely wears you out. Cleaning the grass itself is not an easy task, b/c once you wash it taking it out and drying it can get messy and super wet (especially if you have a small bathroom). When I would be finished with washing the grass, I would then run too the balcony to dry off and switch it with the other grass ... you would then see a trail of water from the bathroom to the balcony. After washing the grass, I would have to go back and finish cleaning the tray and drain tray that you put on top of the pee pad before putting the clean grass on top. Honestly, it really got too much to maintain but didn't want to throw it away or go through the hassle to return the product (especially since it was not cheap) so we tried a different approach. Basically, we removed the grass from the equation and are now just using the tray and the draining trays that you put on top of the pee pad (to hold it in place) and it has been a game changer. Every night I can now easily lift the draining trays, remove the soiled pee pad and put in a fresh one and just wipe down the draining trays with a wet paper towel. There is no more urine smell build up and maintaining it has become 100x easier. The one thing that upsets me is that I paid almost $80.00 for a pee pad holder that I could have found for $30-$40. Our newfypoo still goes on the tray even though we removed the grass. I do want to mention, when we did have the grass on top of the tray our dog would love to lay in it, which was not ideal. Since the change, he has not laid on the tray even once. If you do decide to purchase this product, make sure to get nonslip furniture pads (because the tray will slide around if you put it on a hard wood surface) also consider getting a reusable pee pad to place under the tray because there are times when your dog can miss and ends up getting pee on the floor. Overall, it is not the products fault, it just didn't work for us, I really believe having the grass on top is not necessary because you end up with the same results of where your puppy goes potty as long as you train them where to go.

Great for apartment living. We use it on our balcony and nice it came with 2 turf pads so one can be in used while other is being cleaned. Hint: we use 2 disposable ore pads with it. One goes on top of tray under grate and one on top of grate under turf. Works very well and our dog took to it immediately.

Worst decision ever made. I I don’t think it’s about product, if you have a balcony amazing, but I’m extremely clean and I was washing it every other day because there’s two of them so it’s amazing but it’s not realistic to be cleaning this this much just so it doesn’t have odor. If you have a puppy, you know that your puppy misses sometimes they put the first to pause and they immediately pee the moment you left this thing to clean the pees goes all the way, and it becomes a mess. I only suggested if you have a balcony and your dog is fully trained.

Love this turf matt! Saved me from cleaning and mopping the tile floors daily. Happy pup and happy me. My dog cant always be let out all hours of the day while I go to work. I love how it came with two grass pads to swap while the other is drying out. Easy to clean spray off with the hose and done. I also use a little bit of kitty litter instead of the pee pads. It helps with any smells. 👌👌

Great purchase to help with puppy training in a condo environment. Our puppy is doing well with training. She is mostly going outside but isn’t able to hold it long enough in the morning for us to get dressed. This is a great option. Easy to clean in the shower. The 2nd grass mat provides a clean and dry backup. I use a pee pad under the grass mat to reduce the need to clean the tray. This item has significantly reduced accidents during training. She seems to prefer this over a plain pee pad. Very happy with this purchase.

This might be the best thing I bought for my dog. I live in a condo in the city at the third floor and sometimes, when we need to go potty fast, this is the solution! We have outside on the balcony and it's truly the best thing! To get our dog to pee there and not on ou balcony we juste took a paper towel, rubbed it in her pee and rubbed it on the fake grass. Did that once and she never peed anywhere else! To empty the plastic tray, I suggest paper towels if it's outside, cause pads will get smushy from pee or rain. I also use a seringe if there is rain and pee in the tray. It's too hard to like take the tray somewhere when there's liquid in it, it's very wobbly. Great solution for appartement dogs who sometimes have emergencies!

Je l'ai commandé pour l'arrivé de mon chiot, car je suis en appartement et n'est pas accès au terrain. Par le passé avec d'autres chiens j'utilisais le pipi pad seulement et mes chiens ne faisaient pas la différence avec les tapis dans la maison. Pour l'instant mon chiot n'a aucun problème à l'utiliser et n'est pas porté à aller faire ses besoins sur mes tapis. Pour ce qui est de l'entretien de l'herbe j'ai essayer avec de l'eau douce et savon ou vinaigre mais une odeur d'urine reste . Je vais regarder pour essayer un produit nettoyant spécifique. La qualité est remarquable, robuste. Je le recommande
