It's a doozy!
Well..It may have been around for sometime but this is my first time using an Inverter bulb which eventually should replace my Battery set. Technically it has a ( I would not say quirk) few conditions and those while imperative still need to be addressed. The wiring needs to be PERFECT and so does the SWITCH and the BULB HOLDER. I had to change a couple of Holders. It would seem the CURRENT FLOW while okay to light up a bulb during normal power supply MAY NOT be enough to light up the inverter bulb during a power cut or so my electrician told me. I changed the HOLDER and voila! there was light. it needs charging and after 3 hour of keeping the light on, I could see the bulb light up during a staged power shutdown. It's decent and at a price point where I am actually thinking of changing the entire lot. The limitation is that it only has BRIGHT WHITE as an option. I prefer warmer hues...it's too blue for me for my living room. If you are okay with CORRECTING whatever line, Switches or holder faults ( if any ) you have then it's not even a debate , Just go for it. I normally do not encounter a lot of power cuts but it's for emergencies and it's worth the effort and minuscule cost addition. The biggest USP however is that it's Philips and I have seldom seen ( Never actually myself) it gone wrong.

Not the best emergency bulb but okay
I’m giving 4 star review because it works in emergency. But it is low bright in emergency as well as when on electricity. You won’t feel like 14w led. Anyways I bought for emergencies. This one is okay. But you can search for better

15 days me kharab ho gaya, service centre jane par bol rahe hain yaha electric bulb service nahi hota hai, donot buy. Poor product

14w rechargeable bulb
I ordered two 14w rechargeable bulbs. One is excellent and brighter than usual 9 or 12w bulbs.. but the second one fluorescence is lower and like a 9wt bulb.. it’s ok.
