Bought this as a gift . I love the design and color. Works well so far.

Ok, so we changed our internet and cable provider and the new equipment does not have a digital clock like the old one had. We needed a clock for the livingroom and my family is famous for pocketing every lighter I leave on the coffee table SO this seemed to be a good solution. The watch face could be better lit, it's difficult to read in the dark and I'm not a huge fan of the ornate style but it lights cigarettes perfectly well, it's keeping time and, because it is ornate and doesn't feel like a common lighter, it has not disappeared into a pocket so far. This thing pretty much checks ever box for our (admittedly) very specific needs. I just wish the watch face was better lit.

I don't smoke, but I do go camping, so having a rechargeable wind-proof lighter is a must. I'll be completely honest though, I purchased this because I'm a huge nerd lol, and since it's the most unique lighter I've ever came across. One benefit is it doesn't take butane, so that'll save you some money in the long run. It also charges with the included usb cable, and it even has an led indicator showing how much battery you have left. As far as safety goes, it still ignites things like a flame would, but I don't recommend touching it. I took the liberty of testing it on my hand to see if it was hot, and it shocked me like a stun gun lol, so please be careful with it. If you ignite it; the arc will stay on for a few seconds, but if you close the lid it automatically shuts it off. For under $30 it's a a steal, especially since it's rechargeable. I do agree with the other reviews about the clock needing to be brighter, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I seen another review where there was some corrosion or battery acid under the lid, but mine looks clean, so maybe that was an old one that'd been sitting for a while. I definitely love all the colors they have, but I went with black since I didn't want to drown the lighting effects out with a bright color. Overall I am happy with it, so I will give it 5 stars for the quality, design, features, and functionality.

This lighter is absolutely beautiful. Not only is the clock part easy to set, it lights up while the lighter is open. No more butane lighters, this one is a plasma one, which means less wasted fuel, I just plug it in to charge and the side tells me how much charge is available on this. The plasma arc lights things decently, it takes a bit longer to fully ignite, but that’s okay, I’m just excited by how unique this lighter is.
