This is a con. Buy 12, or rather order 12 pencils, and receive two.
The pencils are what I need, and I cannot fault the product ... BUT I ordered 12, and paid for 12, I was VERY upset/angered and annoyed to receive two pencils.

2 pencils not 12!
These are beautiful charcoal pencils and not always that easy to get in the UK. When I found this offer I couldn't really believe the price and even though I had to wait a while for them, I felt it was well worth it. However you get 2 pencils not 12 ... probably a typing error but a pretty big and misleading one. Still they are such good pencils I can't give them less than 3 stars. The main thing to be aware of with Generals pencils in the UK is that it isn't always easy to fins the higher number/softer leads.

If you love rich, velvety blacks that makes your art pop, General’s Charcoal Pencil is the MVP. I use it for almost all my deep blacks in charcoal/graphite portraits, and it never disappoints. It lays smooth, bold, and consistent.. none of that scratchy, stubborn stuff you get from cheaper pencils. Sharpen it to a fine point, and it gives detail. Flatten it, and you can flood the page with depth. Blendability? Chef’s kiss. Remember to use your fixative to hold it beautifully. If you’re serious about dark values in your drawings, the 6B is basically your secret weapon. Affordable and I usually buy them by the packs so I can get the kneaded erase and white charcoal pencil.
