This is simply an excellent mixing bowl. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and we've used it consistently over the last year. The bowl looks great and is a nice size for most substantial mixing jobs - it's got good mass for whipping cream etc and remains nice and cool while you are working. I think this is very good value - I would have happily paid more. The bowl is tough - we don't have that much space so it lives in a cupboard with sauce pans and so on and I expected that it would have chipped a bit by now. Not a bit - looks as good as new. Recommended purchase.

This mixing bowl took me back years to the time spent in the cookery classes at school. Its a good strong bowl with a slant on one side making it easy to tilt for whisking eggs , batter or cream ect .Easy to clean its dishwasher. microwave and freezer safe . It also has a lipped edge so you can cover it securely . Nice size. Really pleased with my purchase of this item (makes me smile while I use it )

Ordered this for my wife who is a keen amateur baker and she is absolutely delighted with it. Heavy enough not to move around when some vigorous stirring is going on, the flat sided feature also makes it easier to access. Less impressive was the courier who managed by some devious means to deliver two of these smashed into small bits. Full marks to Amazon for immediately sending replacements with the final attempt having very heavy duty protection. 5/5...no faults for this bowl but, just check the dimensions before you order. It is LARGE!

Old style stoneware mixing bowl with a classic Mason Cash design. It has a smooth glaze which makes it easy to clean looks the part in a traditional style kitchen. With it being 19cm in diameter it is perfect for small kitchens or for doing a small batch of baking and is slightly lighter than the bigger ones which make is easier to carry especially for those who don't have the strength to carry the bigger heavier ones. Can't believe the fantastic quality for the price I paid for this. It was quickly dispatched and arrived safely with plenty wrap to make sure of no damage en route. Looks like one my gran used to have, a real heritage piece, with the clever addition of one flat side on the base to allow for easy tipping of ingredients, etc. highly recommended.

As other reviewers have said, this takes me back to my childhood! It's a little smaller than what I'd consider a standard size mixing bowl but still perfectly big enough for most home baking attempts and easier to fit in the dishwasher. The weight is perfect - heavy enough to stay in place without much effort but not so heavy that you can't pour from it easily. I like the idea of the flattened side to rest the bowl at an angle but I haven't used it as it tips it over too much. You'd have to be whisking something very small to avoid spilling. Other than that, perfect!

I've owned plenty of bowls over the years but this is the first time I've felt like I've welcomed a bowl to the family. It's lovely. A huge, great size that you can really use to mix big batches of baking. The nifty design on the side of the bowl that allows you to effortlessly keep the bowl on its side is clever. It's heavy too. All in all, a brilliant buy.

Conforme par la taille, mais non par la couleur que je trouvais très jolie sur la photo, mais qui est en fait beaucoup plus foncée et tire au kaki... Je suis très déçue de la couleur.

Farbe der Schüssel ist um einiges dunkler als auf dem Produktbild so hin ist die Schüssel farblich nicht deckungsgleich ist mit der Schüssel die man zugeschickt bekommt. Man erhält also keine ockerzarte Rührschüssel mit Cremefarbe im Inneren sondern eine Schüssel die innen Milchkaffeebraun (wenig Milch;) und außen Haselnussbraun ist. Wem die Farben nicht stören, der kann sich nur ruhig diese Rührschüssel zulegen. Sie ist wirklich sehr gut gearbeitet, hat eine dicke Wandung (also nichts dünnes oder filigranes), lässt sich gut halten, ist schwer und kippt nicht einfach um wenn man heftiger mit dem Holzlöffel herumrührt. Fazit: Schüssel in hochwertiger Fertigung. Farben leider nicht deckungsgleich mit Produktfoto.

leider entspricht die Farbe der Abbildung nicht der Lieferung. Wer eine relativ flache Rührschüssel in einem schönen erdigen Beige haben möchte, sollte zugreifen. Gelblich, wie auf dem Bild, ist sie leider nicht. Eigentlich ist sie nach Sichtprüfung - keine Einschlüsse, keine Blasen, glatte Oberfläche - 5 Sterne wert, Punktabzug gibt es für eine nicht farbgetreue Abblldung. Über den Gebrauch vermag ich nicht zu urteilen, da sie zurückgeht.
