It's great to find a lightweight, portable 18'' monitor capable of 2560x1660 with 144hz refresh rate in UPERFECT 18" QLED Portable Monitor. The 2K (2560×1600) resolution delivers incredibly sharp visuals, and the colors look vibrant and accurate thanks to the QLED panel. Additionally, the latency in response is only 1ms; in conjunction with the 144hz refresh rate, everything feels responsive. The 500-nit brightness is another standout feature. The screen stays clear and bright even in well-lit environments, which is something many portable monitors struggle with. The 18-inch size also strikes a great balance—it’s large enough to feel like a real secondary display but still portable enough to carry in a laptop bag. Setup was quick and easy, and the monitor works seamlessly with my laptop through USB-C and HDMI (up to 120hz). Overall, this is an excellent portable monitor with premium display quality, smooth performance, and great brightness. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a larger, high-refresh portable screen for productivity or gaming.

I am a perm WFH and use this monitor for when I am away from my at-home setup. I have multiple monitors at home so I am use to a lot of desktop space. This monitor is great, but you just need to be aware of the size. I also have the 15.6inch from this same company. I compare everything against my 5.11 backpacks as that is what I pack everything into. The 18inch fits nicely in the Rush24 but sticks out some with the Rush12 and the Moab10. This has been fine for short trips. The 15.6 fits fine into all three backpacks. With that said, I have found myself reaching for the 18inch and my Moab10 and just packing everything into that. It seems to fit fairly nice and secure even with it sticking out slightly. It has become my go-to grab-and-go when heading out for short trips. I am able to fit my extra keyboard, mouse, monitor and laptop in the Moab10 when I was heading to the library for a change of scenery (or when my internet goes out). As long as you have the space for carrying this around, you can't go wrong. With regards to setup, this works great with my Surface Laptop 3 and 4. The power from the USB-C is sufficient so the extra power cable is not required. I find this to be extremely appealing and super simple for setup. I also recently ordered the Surface dock as I would like to have use of both monitors. (FYI, Surface Laptop only comes with 1 USB-C port). The monitor is 2k so it is clear and has really good resolution. I found it to be a great compliment to my work laptop (which is only a 13inch). Being a Software Engineer, the extra desktop space is a must. I have had several multi-hour runs with it recently because our internet kept going out. I found myself constantly moving my windows over to the 18inch and working from that screen and only keeping email and chat on my laptop monitor. If you are in the market and have the space for carrying this around then the 18inch is the way to go. If you are limited on space then you might consider the 15.6inch version but again, you can really see the difference between 15.6 and 18inch with regards to how much you can fit on your screen. In all honesty, you really can't go wrong either way as the company is wonderful and stands by their products.

I have to say that I am loving this monitor. It looks great for use on the Nintendo Switch, just know that the majority of the games only run at 30 frames per second, while this monitor is 60Hz. I have mostly been using it with my switch, since a lot of the games I have on there are RPGs, allowing me to watch TV at the same time. Playing on my Xbox Series S, it has been a joy. The screen being a little higher than 1440 with a more compact pixel density makes the gorgeous graphics look even sharper. I have been mostly playing Cyberpunk 2077 on it and am very happy with it. Just remember to change the Xbox refresh rate to 60Hz to match the monitor, or you will have odd frame skips. The monitor being lightweight also helps with travel, easily being carried with my laptop in its bag without taking up a lot of space at all. The traveling aspect is easily my favorite, since I do visit friends in other states, bringing my gaming with me. Being an affordable option, you might be willing to grab one of these for an older child to use while playing games in the car. Just a thought. One major thing I would like to point out is about the screen and purchasing a screen protector/privacy filter for it. Be sure to measure the screen itself in both inches and centimeters, so you can find a screen protector with those measurements for a 16 inch 16:10 aspect ratio. That will save you from having to waste your purchases finding the correct size for this, or any other monitor you have. The speakers are good for the size they are. Just be aware that there will be limitations for the size. I am just happy that they are even built in, since so many out there do not include built-in speakers at all. While I was watching shows, movies and Youtube, the speakers were clear and powerful enough to enjoy. Movies that thrive on surround and ambience will likely lose that, but these are just stereo speakers. This same subject is something to consider when you are playing games with heavy ambience. For these, I recommend headphones of some kind, which brings me to the point of happiness that they included a 3.5mm port. With so many electronics these days no longer including that, I was very happy to see it here. Overall, this monitor is a great buy. The performance and quality is great for the price point. I fully recommend it. Their customer service is amazing. I only wanted to get a spare adapter for traveling, so I can leave one at home. They were more than happy to help. Keep in mind, this is a 2560 x 1600p (2k class) at 60Hz LCD panel.

I bought this expecting a lot since UPerfect has a solid reputation for portable monitors, and overall it delivers, just not perfectly. The biggest standout is the brightness. The unit gets VERY bright, and the 2K display looks genuinely gorgeous. Colors pop right out of the box, but it definitely feels like they’ve cranked a “vivid” mode, so everything is a bit over-saturated unless you dial it back. It’s advertised as 144Hz, but I’ve only been able to get 120Hz. The included USB-C cable claim is confusing, especially since most motherboard USB-C ports don’t even output video. So out of the box, it doesn’t really hit that 144Hz experience. That said, 120Hz is still smooth and looks great. Also, if you’re not using a proper wall outlet, the monitor can randomly shut off. At max brightness it seems like USB power alone isn’t enough, so it really needs stable power. The control button is also pretty finicky. I’m a little conflicted on the price. For around $250, I’d expect true 144Hz out of the box and maybe even a carrying case. But at the same time, this is easily one of the best portable monitors you can get at this price. Overall, I do like it. Once you dial it in, it looks amazing and performs well.

I've been looking for a 8:5 ratio gaming monitor for a long time, ever since I fell in love with the format a decade ago. I tend to travel and move quite often, and I also wanted to get a monitor that fit in my bag. UPERFECT had the right product at the right time, and what a product this monitor is. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the enhanced 144 Hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming at this resolution and price point. Setting up is simple, with only one cable needed from my PC. I have a DisplayPort adapter cable set up to provide a signal from my SFF PC. Note that you should set up a second USB-C charger for extra power, which is included. Very recently, it came time for me to replace the screen due to a defective backlight. Even though my purchase was already two years old at the time, UPERFECT support came in to help, replacing my monitor at no charge! I will always recommend UPERFECT for portable monitors from now on.

I tried out a couple of different portable displays to go with the monitor. First one was actually Uperfect 16" display. However, the customer care support were kind enough to let me return it and I purchased a 14.5" display. This one turned out to be perfect for my 14" laptop. Lightweight and comes with a folio case. I have a USB-C on my laptop which I use to connect. So simple; just one connection and done. No separate power source needed for me. If I need, I just plug in the laptop to the laptop charger. Also, it allows display adjustments like Brightness, Contrast, etc right there on the display. Speakers are decent, and can handle normal work-stuff. No obvious way to use it in vertical mode without getting any button pushed but if someone really wanted to, they can make it work. The brightness is more than bright enough for a very well lit room, and that was most important for me. Definitely recommend!

Good quality little display. Maybe not perfect if compared to something like a new MacBook screen but not bad at all. I use it as an assets library monitor to streamline my workflow and it performs quite well. Also tried to play on it and for such application it is phenomenal, especially for its price.

I purchased the 2K 16" 60Hz monitor and I must say that it's fantastic: extremely sharp, very bright, and the case that comes with it works well in both protecting the monitor and as a stand. I've tested the quality of the monitor against using online tools and it has passed with flying colours. The only thing that may bug some of you is that there's some serious glare when using it outdoors however, if your usage is limited to indoor activity then it works great! No complaints with video/game quality. Freesync helps out in this regard but I do wish the refresh rate was higher. Customer service is excellent: I actually received a used monitor vs a brand new as expected, and they were quick to resolve the issue for me.

This a great little monitor! I don’t use it as a portable monitor but it seems it would be very easy to transport and setup easily as such. I have it fixed to a swing arm and use as a third monitor for daily work. The image is bright and clear. I even have an Apple TV connected to it and use it as a television in the evening. Highly recommended. Note: the monitor is very light so if buying a swing arm for it, get a light one. The monitor does not have enough weight to balance out a normal swing arm.
