A runner but gorgeous results
Ethereal has become one of my favorite glazes. I fire to cone 6 and it is beautiful. I only use on the upper portion of my pottery because it is a floating glaze and runs a bit. I think it takes a bit of trial and error to find what you like, glaze can be so unpredictable but this one always leaves me with gorgeous results. I love the dimension of the colors, and have never had any issues with crawling or crazing with this one. It’s great to pair with other glazes as well. Great price also.

Much lighter blue on (White) Dover clay body.
This floating blue glaze came out much lighter blue than the pictured sample when applied to my (white) Dover clay body. It didn’t run which was nice. I’m going to try it on a red clay body and see if that is more like the pictured sample.

The coloris very brown not blue at all
I mixed with water and even though the glaze looked thin the coverage was good but it is not blue very very brown even with 2 full dips still very very brown not blue at all. Bottom is one dip top is 2 dips. Now I have a gallon of ugly brown glaze. With no way to send it back.. and no way to get In touch with seller to see if there it a way to fix it.

Bummer! This glaze was NOT like the picture. I was disappointed when I removed my projects from the Kiln.

I had high hopes for this glaze. It sucks never turns out properly.
