I just received these, but no instructions for care. Do I need to oil or heat them before first use?

The non-stick coating of our products achieves a good food release even without brushing with oil. Of course, if you want to get a better non-stick effect, you can also try brushing with a little oil before use.

Do they rust in the dishwasher?

I’ve put them in the dishwasher multiple times. They have not rusted.

Does the pattern on the bottom of the pan leave a pattern on the bottom of soft baked goods like pizza dough?

If the the soft baked goods are not too heavy, there will be no pattern left. If you want the pattern , you can press the dough a few times before baking And the pattern on the pan creates a small air circulation to promote better uniform heating.
