First, this was delivered 4 days after ordered... didn't expect that since I really waited too long to obtain these from my regular nursery.... couldn't believe I could still find these this late for planting..... so wasn't expecting a lot... especially at such a GREAT price!! Anyway, the asparagus crowns arrived looking REALLY, REALLY GOOD!!! I would say they will be growing and producing just fine!!!! I will definitely be looking for other items from this company!!!

I rarely write an Amazon review but was very impressed with the quality of these asparagus root starters and wanted to give kudos to the sellers. I have always bought asparagus through local nurseries but these roots were healthier and larger than the ones I'm able to get here. Thank you so much! These purple asparagus are always the most tender and sweet. I am putting them in gopher baskets now as I have been dealing with gophers eating the roots over the years.

All 5 crowns are growing about a week after planting. I am very happy with these crowns. They are doing really well and we're shipped quickly! Cant wait till next year when I can try a shoot or two from the plants!

Went to Territorial Seed Co in Cottage Oregon and saw crowns marked as 1 yr old that were larger and more healthy than the ones I received. AND I could pick through them and find the best ones. These guys lied to me! Don't buy from them!

The 10 crowns arrived super fast. They were healthy and 7 of the 10 were very large, about twice the size of others I've bought. The other 3 were average size. I planted them the day I received them in a raised bed. 7 days later I've already got 4 spears about 2" long! My other crowns bought elsewhere took much longer to sprout. I'm extremely happy with the quality and fast shipping!
