I ordered this and other matching pieces for the living room of my new house and was absolutely blown away by the overall quality of the piece and also the care taken in packaging it for shipping. The table arrived almost completely assembled and meticulously packed - double-boxed, with a solid inch of EPS foam and multiple layers of plastic around the body of the table and the individually-wrapped legs packed along with the hardware (including spare parts and a long ball-tip allen key for assembly) into a separate box jammed into the cavity behind one of the drawers. With all of that protection, unpacking the table took significantly longer than actually 'assembling' it, which amounts to bolting the legs on with allen bolts into threaded inserts already installed on the underside of the table. The color and finish is outstanding, with a flawless satin amber-toned finish that really lets the solid acacia wood pop and reflects light very naturally. The legs are powder coated steel, and like all of the hardware are incredibly sturdy. The drawers use wooden slides, so they're a bit rustic compared to modern ball-bearing ones, but they're quite smooth and look far more appealing when open than metal ones. The cubbies and drawers are moderately sized, but you get two of each and they're perfect for storing the sorts of things you typically put in or on a coffee table - books, remotes, coasters, tablets and the like can be stashed out of sight easily. Top marks for a very well-crafted and gorgeous homage to classic mid-century modern pieces that you can order with a few clicks and have delivered in a few days. Zero engineered wood and no corners cut - this table is legitimately a fantastic piece. If you like the style, size and color, there's no reason not to jump.

This is a real bargain. Very heavy and looks great. Many compliments on how nice it looks. Only assembly is putting on legs. You just turn table upside down and screw them in. Very easy. Excellent quality at small price.

We started out with a TV stand, and we’re so impressed with the quality of the item that we bought five more pieces to complete our living room. The legs are metal and very sturdy. The wood is solid and gorgeous and the design is fantastic! You can see the care that they have for their product by how they are packed and shipped they even send you a thank you card. I highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Let me start with I don't normally write reviews good or bad. I had to for this. I have ordered many furnitures from Amazon over the years, I can easily say this was far the best. First of all it is a good solid wood. Really is gorgeous just like you see it in the pictures. But what’s nice is, it arrived assembled. Only thing I had to do was to put the legs which literally took about a minute or two. Hardest part was to get it out of the box it came in, but I’m not complaining because it was very secure and I don’t see how it would get damaged in that box. It has decent storage place, as you see in the pictures. Overall I think it’s great for the price point. There are more expensive options out there with lesser quality. And sometimes it can be frustrating to put furniture from start to finish. This doesn’t have that. Yeah, this was a great buy, if you like the look of it and thinking about it, go for it. From this purchase, whenever I need something else I will come back to this company.

First off: The coffee table was very well wrapped and packaged to ensure no damage in shipping. There was the out cardboard shipping box and then there was an inner cardboard as well. Once you get through those boxes you then encounter the coffee table tightly wrapped in thick styrofoam and stretch film. And once you get that off, you then finally have the table unwrapped. The legs were stored in one of the open cubbies with more Styrofoam to ensure it didn't rattle, and the drawers were stuffed with my foam so they didn't move around and make noise or damage themselves. Bolting on the legs took less than 5 minutes, start to finish. And speaking of finish, this table appears to be very well made.l and solidly built. The table has a satin finish and is smooth to the touch. The table makes a great addition to my mid-century modern living room and I expect it to last and stuck around for many years to come. I would definitely purchase this again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. A++

I expected a shiny golden varnish based on the pic, but it doesn't have a highly glossy finish. It's more of a matte yellow orange stain - still quite beautiful. My pics didn't reflect an accurate color unfortunately. The unique geometric drawers are my favorite feature, and I was thrilled to see that they are on both sides of the table - more storage is always welcome. This is a sturdy, solid wood table, too many others are built with MDF that off-gas formaldehyde, potentially causing or exacerbating respiratory problems and cancer. I'm not a health fanatic, but I do limit my exposure to toxins whenever I can. Everyone compliments this table, I'm glad I went a little above my budget and bought it.

This is an almost unbelievable price for a coffee table this nicely made. Yes, it is actually real solid wood and made the old-fashioned way with wood joints. It comes fully assembled except for the legs. The drawers are beautifully done and slide easily in and out. The finish is quite water resistant - I spilled some water that sat for a while and when I cleaned it up, the finish was still flawless. Nevertheless if you intend to use this as a "eat while watching tv" type of coffee table, I'd consider a glass top to protect it even more. This is a piece you will keep forever and pass on to friends or relatives.

seams starting cracking within six months- Amazon offered to replace it but I have to send the original back- no way for me to send back a coffee table on my own/move it, so stuck with a defective item. The end table I bought was also defective, as was the replacement. Bummer because they look really cool

Coming from a region where Teak is the standard and Rosewood the aspiration and Mahogany a compromise, transitioning to the North American furniture market has been an adjustment. This Acacia piece is my first foray into more accessible woods; while it relies on joinery and glue rather than solid slabs, its resilience and aesthetic are surprisingly impressive for the price point. It’s a pragmatic middle ground between the 'soulless' nature of particle board and the unattainable luxury of old-growth Teak.
