Excellent tool, expensive for what it is, would still buy again
I like this meter and use it every time before I go flying to check the voltages of battery packs to match them for parallel charging, and while flying to check how much juice is left after coming down. Works very well for cells from 2S to 8S. 1S works in principle, but you will likely need an adapter to plug your battery into the balance port AND another 2S+ battery to supply power to the unit then. For 2+S packs usage is super simple, just plug the balancing lead into the device and you will get cell voltages displayed almost instantly, very convenient, no need to bother with the XT-60 connector in this case. It can also balance cells and act as an USB power source for e.g. charging your cell phone. I have rarely used the balancing feature, as I always balance charge before flying and a healthy LiPo pack shouldn't be unbalanced after discharging it to 3.8 - 3.75 V (per cell resting) or so anyway. The display is easy to read inside and outside and the user interface is good via three buttons. But again, for its main function of checking cell voltages you won't have to press any of those. I think it is expensive for what it is, but if I lost this one I would get a new one, it's that convenient.

Great Smart Battery Checker & More
Been using this checker the last 3yrs and no problems. Works great and easy to navigate and use. Probably the best cell checker IMO. Build quality is good. Worth it IMO

Great for field and balancing cells at storage
In the field you really only need to get a general reading of your cells. Showing you all cells at once is the only option for me and this does that. As for accuracy it is good enough for the field, and to balance the cells in the pack I would say it does a great job. When checked with a Fluke meter the accuracy is at +/- 0.01 or better, but typically consistent across all the cells. Love the color screen which is easy to see in bright daylight. Also nice option to be able to charge USB devices such as the DJI Goggles battery. When balancing cells it is consistent across the cells and does not get hot, although this does only discharge cells down to the lowest one so it works fine for storage mode, but probably not designed for evening out at 4.195 - 4.20 volts before using. It'll just waste energy you could use for your application.

Great but not accurate
This meter is great for getting a quick reading of the battery or even balancing a small pack, but it is not precise within 10mv as even after calibration, the values will drift over time and even based on ambient temperature. It is perfectly fine for hobby packs but not if you need to check within 5-10mv of precision. The heat it generates from balancing actually throws off the readings more despite repeated calibration. The display however is very will Iit and easy to read.

Great battery checker and emergency charger
Pretty happy with the checker so far. I bought a couple of the cheap LED display ones, and decided it was time to upgrade. One of the best parts is that this reads up to the thousandth unit. Interesting enough the new ISD go program will not recognize the checker on a mac, will need windows to update firmware in the future. It looks like as of this time it ships with the most recent firmware installed. Also unlike their chargers you will have to supply alternative power to power the device for firmware updates (does not power on with the micro usb). I did find this was out of calibration in different directions on the different cells. Up to 0.04v using a fluke meter. The display is bright and with it calibrated quite informational. If you forget to charge your goggle batteries or camera or anything you can plug in one of your charged flight packs to use this as a USB charger which comes in surprisingly handy.

Fantastic piece of hardware.
We use 4 of these testers and they've all been very accurate, fast, and they are able to balance batteries *that are able to be balanced*. If your battery is shot or has a bad cell that can't go beyond X volts, this is no fault of the balancer. You have a bad battery. This little piece of hardware makes it quick and easy to check maximum cell variance in mV, overall charge percentage, and individual cell voltages as the first thing to display on the screen. We work with thousands of batteries, and these cell testers are great, and display the same information our expensive chargers do. The guy in the reviews with the Fluke doesn't know what he's doing, and it's easy to tell by his reported issues. You can buy an expensive name brand piece of equipment, but owning gucci gear won't make you an expert overnight, unfortunately. :)

Good design, feature rich, easy to operate
Bought this to monitor and balance the 100 Ah Sinopoly and 200Ah CALB LiFePO4 batteries. Will Prowse did an excellent job reviewing this on YouTube. 1) Balances the cell by moving the power from higher voltage cell to lower voltage cells (not draining the current). 2) Balancing function easily reached. 3) Easy to read display. Turns blue when done balancing. 4) Dependable, can leave on over night and weeks consumes very little power. 5) User friendly, will boot up automatically and fast from unplugging and plugging. Strike: - Doesn't measure battery internal resistance. Bought one unit, worked so well that bought another. Will buy 3rd one soon.

Surprisingly Good Battery Meter
I bought this battery meter on the recommendation of a popular YouTuber. This thing is every bit as good as he claims. It's color LCD readout is much easier to read than monochrome displays. It's very accurate, and gives information about all the cells (up to 8) simultaneously. It will also balance the cells. You can set it for four different lithium battery chemistries, set a low voltage alarm, and even use it to charge USB devices from your battery. One thing to know. You must download the User Manual from their web site. The web address is included in the leaflet included with it.

Part of my standard RC kit. Very versatile.
Works great, must have in your RC toolbox. Very compact too. Dirt cheap for what it can do. Not sure how accurate it is, I guess we would need to compare it or use calibrated equipment to verify it but the batteries I use seem happy with it, they seem properly balanced, I double checked with another device and get the same per cell readings.

Extremely useful lipo battery condition tester.
Use with up to 8 cell lipos, gives voltage for each cell and total, plus percentage of power available. Also can balance all cells to lowest. Highly recommended item and seller.

The best balancer for rechargeable batteries
I bought 2 of this product and they work really well, but the other one died after 2 hours balancing the battery, i gotta return it and buy another one. i love this, it will give you live voltages rather than a built in bms nobody knows whats going on inside. i will buy again.

Very useful.
Gives a good overview of the state of my 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery. Balance while charging doesn't work to good, and I ordered a QNBBM 4S active voltage equalizer battery balancer on Aliexpress which I am hoping will do the trick as it has a balance current of 6 amps or something. But this ISDT BattGo BG-8S Battery Meter will still be a part of my system. Would be great if they included a balance lead with it, I just happened to have one but somebody else might struggle.
