Not bad
These are quite descent quality. The faux leather is very soft, I hope it will last and won't get flat over time. Overall look of these headphones 🎧 is good. They reasonably well made. Come with controls on the cable. The mic 🎤 is detachable, very flexible. They will make a great present for any gamer. I hope my review and photos were helpful.

From its striking design to its exceptional audio performance, this headset delivers on every front, making it a top choice for gamers seeking a premium audio experience. Design and Comfort: ★★★★★ The NZXT Relay is a testament to the marriage of style and comfort. Its sleek, white design with subtle RGB accents immediately catches the eye. The headset's build quality feels robust, yet it remains surprisingly lightweight, making long gaming sessions a breeze. The adjustable headband and plush memory foam ear cushions provide a comfortable fit, ensuring that you can immerse yourself in your favorite games for hours on end without discomfort. I like the brand but these headphones are a let down for me
Did not work as intended. I thought I would try some over ear headphones that physically attached to my laptop that I could use for Teams meetings. The sound was very "tinny" with seemingly no filters so was wearing on long meetings. Worse, I could not get the microphone to work properly either inserting it directly into the 3.5mm jack in the laptop, nor using the USB headphone connector so this was a deal breaker. The design is bad the enclosed headphones doesn't allow any air to get to your ears so are uncomfortably hot for anything more than 10 minutes (I have a pair of Philips that do a much better job). The plastic feels cheap and flimsy . In terms of value for money, I feel they are overpriced for even what I paid for them. They actually feel more like something AliExpress would sell. Shame as I have an old Nzxt case from 10 years ago I still use due to the quality and space. They also had good customer services when I needed parts but unfortunately these headphones are a dud.

Lightweight, comfy and with great sound
These are a particularly good set of headphones in every way that matters and from a well-respected modern brand. They offer a remarkably high degree of comfort and provide high quality sound that is not lacking in any aspect with good bass, clear voice, and with no sibilance in the high registers. The sound stage is precise and wide with each instrument well located in a seeming 3D space. They are lightweight and, although entirely plastic in construction, the mouldings and final finish are precise and attractive, giving an overall appearance of a premium product despite the ultra-light weight materials used. It's pretty amazing what kind of quality is available these days at a very fair price from Amazon. Well done to the m anufacturers.

good price
This is a great headset for gaming fitting comfortably on the head, my grandson has used it for 3 to 4 hours at a time and it still remained comfortable The Microphone mute on the wire is a nice touch. The wire is not overly long probably just the right length. The maximum volume is excellent but is definitely not needed at full volume. The microphone is good if you don't have a dedicated microphone A very good headset

A waste of money
The volume is extremely disappointing. I was forced to download the CAM software to get the mic working on a P.C. Now sitting in the dust bin.

The USB adapter will offer better sound quality
I'd never heard of NZXT before, but my partner said they're more well-known for their PC cases. The headphones come with a detachable microphone, USB adapter, wire with 2 jacks and a headphone splitter. First off, the headphone jack with the splitter is inferior to using the USB - I would advise you to use the USB adapter for the best quality sound. The jack makes the audio sound stereo-like, which is awful for gaming. The volume also doesn't go very loud. Connecting via USB gives you a surround sound effect, although, this can be quite overwhelming during an Apex Legends fight for example. You can download their software so that you can tweak it to your liking. They are great for music and films if you can't listen to them out loud. However, the USB adapter is fairly chunky and annoying to be hanging out the back of my PC (don't judge my awful cable management!). The wire has a volume dial (which doesn't tell you which is low or high) and a mute button for convenience. I've been told the mic is clear on Discord, but it doesn't have as much frequency as another headset I have. The headphones are very secure on your head, you could headbang and they won't fall off. It is also adjustable to fit your head size. They don't have anything on my SteelSeries headphones, but they're not bad if you use the USB adapter and download the NZXT software. Plugging directly into the motherboard (sound chip) will provide options to fine-tune the audio.

If you know what good sound quality is, this headset is an amazing buy
So, if you're a sweaty gamer that's only used headsets exclusively marketed for gaming or you enjoy accentuated bass, you most likely will not appreciate this headset. If you're an audiophile or use monitor headphones, you may really like this headset, especially the sound delivered at the price point. A couple of things to know, these are designed for PCs as NZXT is designs/builds gaming PCs, internal PC components, and peripherals. With that being said, NZXT did something interesting: the headset cable plugs into the right earpiece as opposed to the left. I can only assume this is because most gaming PCs are designed similar and therefore, placed on the right of desks. I found this to be unnecessary as most of us are used to the 'standard' and I do not believe this company is large enough to break that mold. Some other things to know: these are rated at 32ohms (no amp needed), they DO fit on NZXTs "Puck", and this headset has a flat, monitor style, sound signature. I purchased this headset on sale, but even at the list price of $99, the sound and clarity this headset delivers is far above its' price and I own multiple sets from Sennheiser, AKG, Audio Technica, Sony, and Bose. I also own a ton of gamer headsets from SteelSeries, Razer, Corsair, Turtle Beach, Hyper X, and others. It's an obsession of mine. Side note, I think SteelSeries makes the best 'all-around' sounding gaming headsets with one exception, the Sennheiser Game ONE. Back to the NZXT, the sound is incredibly clear, sharp, and detailed. Way beyond any $100 dollar pair I've used, own, or tested. The highs are a bit too sharp, and the bass is right next to non-existent. However, this is where a break-in period is welcomed. Not only will this time period open up the diaphragms a bit, but it also helps to desensitize from headsets that accentuate bass. The sound stage is on the wider side, and sound separation is very noticeable. If you often play FPS games and subtle sounds/sound direction are important, man these just kill it. Comfort is middle of the road for me. Slightly heavy and have a bit of clamping force, however, the break in period really helped with the clamping force. Natural sound dampening is very, very good. Earpads get hot and sticky, but this is due to the protein leather. The in-line volume dial is too sensitive, bumping it can turn down or up the volume way too easily. Durability is unknown for me as it has not passed the test of time, however, based on all of my experiences, I speculate the headband padding will go first and next the earpads. This is based on the material and design, but all of this should be replaceable. Can't comment on the mic, I use a dedicated mic which should always deliver better quality. I know this is a longer review, but this headset was getting a lot of hate I do not think they deserve, most coming from sweaty gamers that obviously don't know anything about sound reproduction but rather prefer small subs in their ears. I personally like to experience video game sounds as intended by the developers with incredible accuracy, detail, and clarity and this headset delivers. Cheers.
