Spigen Slim Armor Pro S MagFit Case for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8

I don't often write reviews, but today I feel like I have to. I've been using Spigen cases for over a decade now, and nothing else comes close the exceptional quality and value for money. When my Z Fold 8 arrived, I thought I would try something new. I paid close to £100 for an aramid case from a different brand and I just cant believe how poor it was for the cost, so I immediately requested a return and ordered the Spigen Slim Armor Pro with Magfit kickstand. Probably just a mm thicker than the aramid one, but offers far more protection, looks better, feels better, and has a kickstand, and for a wide phone the hinge protector makes the phone narrow than the aramid one in comparison. I'm glad to be protected once again by a trusted Spigen

Slick case, however a piece of the hinge broke off after a few months and the hinge resistance is weakening, not worth the price.

A too expensive case that fails its basic function After all these years in business, it's idiotic to sell a product that fails its basic function. You will not be able to hold your phone for long. Even with big hands. I use Spigen glass for many years and confirm it works. This is an amateur's Pathetic endeavor. Pros - Quality plastic to keep phone safe - Open/Close mechanism works well Cons - Sharp/Straight edges make holding the phone very uncomfortable - Hand holding is a pain - Driving, back stand free spin disrupts charging in windscreen mount with vibration To be Returned!

I got this before my ZF8 arrived, because I generally trust Spigen and I knew it would fit with the Spigen screen protector. Initially I liked the case; it was a good solid fit and the ring on the back was good and supported the phone. I put it on my wireless charger and the magnet strength was incredible. However, when I tried it on my car's wireless charging pad, it wouldn't charge unless I had it in a very awkward, non-sustainable position. It would appear to be the ring that is causing problems by lifting the phone very slightly so as it won't stay in contact with the pad. A shame, I returned it. The other problem I found is the same one I (and others) had with the Z Fold7, namely the phone 'clicking' every time you open it. It's caused by the front frame catching the hinge flap. It's sad to see Spigen have not resolved this issue for their latest cases. Thanks for listening.

I saw a review saying the hinge had failed. That doesn't seem to be the case with mine. It's a great case, a bit more pricey than what I have gone with in the past. It does add a little bit of bulk but what are you expecting? The kickstand is a bit of a weird one. It's great to stand the phone up when unfolded, but serves no purpose really when the phone is open as it's stuck to one side of the device so there is no balance.

Great base! Adds a bit of bulk to the case but feels very secure and protected. I honestly feel this case will offer good protection. The built-in stand is an added plus, however it doesn't work when the fold 8 is unfolded (it's a bit lop-sided) so it's only useful when using the phone closed

Good fit. Rotating magnetic ring is good for charging and getting best position as a stand. The 2 half's are also connected so less chance of one side coming off.

Careful if you intend to use this with a wireless charger. Using the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger + 45W and it will not charge with the case on. The case is too thick so not as advertised.

Enfin une coque qui tient la route pr z fold 8 : bon 40 euros quand même mais la qualité est là. Plus qu'à voir dans la temps maintenant.

Protezione completa ideale per chi fa spesso cadere il telefono. Solida e aderisce bene. Aggiunge spessore inevitabilmente.Consigliata.

This is an excellent case. Fits very well, protection is great and thats why ot adds a lot of bulk but still leaves the phone completely usable and comfortable.

magsafe magnetic is woefully weak and the case did not work with magsafe charging. The Samsung OEM magsafe case worked flawlessly when i was testing the magsafe charger and phone. Otherwise the case was ok but the edges mase screen selection hard to get your finger to the edge.
