Roller Chain Breaker Detacher Cutter for #25-60 Roller Chains Motorcycle Bicycle Go Kart ATV Chains Replacing

I needed this quickly to finish a gokart project. It came sameday thanks to prime and worked exactly as expected. This tool makes it an easy one step process when it comes breaking chains. I dont know how long it will last but it seems like the build quality is good so i expect it to last. Will update if i run into any issues.

For the price of this handy little tool it’s worth it. No grinding of the pins and using a punch and hammer to drive them out worked great on a 25 chain

I only used this on a #25 chain so I cant say if it works better or not with larger sizes. It kind of spreads the link while its pushing the pin out. The pin doesnt cleanly slide out. But it gets it going enough where I can easily use a punch to get it the rest of the way out. So it definitely makes it easier using this tool as opposed to using just a punch to get the pin out.

This tool can easily break the links from a 525 motorcycle chain if done carefully and per instructions. Performed really well with little to no damage to the tool. The chain was not damaged at all. This too should last if used properly, great value.

I’ve bought 3 others and they sucked. This one is the best and easiest to use period. At least easiest for me to use. I definitely recommend it to anyone who works on chains of any type.

It worked great on my #35 chain, but it was really hard to use on the #25H chain -- the grips didn't center the pin under the link very well, and the tool's push pin is not straight so it wobbles around when you tighten it, which makes a huge difference with such a fine chain. Also the push pin is kind of soft, so my chain was deforming the tool, and it's possible that the chain pin was a much harder metal than the tool's pin. I ended up having to grind off the heads of the chain pins so that this tool could push the link out, but at that point there's not much benefit to using the tool. I'm hoping to find a better tool for the #25H chain.

Works great. Go slow and work each link evenly. Watched a video after I wasn't getting results because I didn't do it evenly and bent links.
