Ideal present
This was a present for my grandchild. He loves it and always takes it with him when they go out. Pictures are good and tbe camera is light enough

Good little camera,lucky my misses knows how to set these up as the instructions where in every other language with NO ENGLISH ones!But pretty simple to set up she said lol. Delivery was quick as the first one didnt arrive. Many thanks.

Value for money. Could only be bettered by rechargeable batteries as the standard one don't last very long when camera used every day. Replacement batteries over 1 year cost more than upgrading to rechargeable batteries in alternative camera.

Good budget camera, takes AA batteries
Despite being released in 2016, after just three years in 2019 the Coolpix A10 looks a little retro in design with its rounded body and relatively large buttons compared to most current compacts on the market. This simplicity of design for me is one of the good features of the camera, the others are its budget price and the fact thatโs its powered by the universally available AA batteries (2 required). The battery compartment has to be a little larger compared to the more commonly used lithium cells, but this serves as a nice grip with which to hold the camera firmly and comfortably. The specification is not top of the range, but perfectly adequate for taking good pictures in a range of situations. The lens is a modest 5x (28mm to 130mm in 35mm camera equivalent), nowhere near the commonly found superzooms of 20 or 30x, but will be perfectly adequate for normal day to day shooting. The viewfinder is 2.7inch which again doesnโt match the commonly seen 3inch finders, but it does keep the size โ and cost โ to a minimum. Weight is a featherlight 160g (without batteries) and size is 10 x 3 x 6cm. which is small enough to slip into a pocket with ease. 16.1 megapixels is more than sufficient, video is HD720p and there is electronic image stabilisation for avoiding camera shake. As a simple point and shoot take-everywhere camera this is a great choice for everyday use. Simplicity and battery power are the great appealing features โ 200 shots from alkaline, 500 with rechargeables or an impressive 700 shots with lithium cells.
