Rothenberger 72070 Ropump Super Plus Force Pump

I’ve had a slow-running or blocked sink for ages due to poor design of the outflow which has a very gradual gradient and a long-run to the drain.I’ve tried all sorts of chemicals and that provides only short term relief at best.I saw the Rothenberger RoPump on Amazon but baulked at the price, buying a cheapo from Screwfix instead which was useless.Finally bought this the other day. Wow! Dead easy to use and 2-3 pumps and the blockage was cleared with the water racing through. Compared with the Screwfix copy-cat product, this like a bazooka compared with a pea-shooterDon’t buy an inferior product. This one will save you money over time, particularly if you’ve had to call out drain-clearance people in the past

I had a blocked toilet and had tried everything from plungers to chemicals to even calling out Dyno-Rod all to no avail. I had read other positive reviews for this product but due to the cost had avoided ordering it. As a last resort I ordered the Rothenberger pump, as the alternative was to cut out walls to get to the drain pipes which would have cost £100's if not £1000's. Within 2 minutes and 3 pumps of the Rothenberger the blockage was cleared. I wish I had ordered it earlier rather than spending weeks on trying alternative options without success. I would definitely recommend this product if other cheaper options don't work for you.

Great for unblocking toilets. Heavy duty. I'm a bit unconvinced about using this products for sinks though, water went everywhere as it was hard to get a good seal on drain hole.

Tried all kinds of ways to unblock the bath tube. The block point is very very deep, more than 3 meters. Failed with a number of tools and chemicals. This tool did the job using a very simple way. Only cost a couple of minutes. Expensive but did the job!

Got this as had a partial blockage in a toilet could not shift. Few pumps and sorted. In fact, this thing is so powerful I ended up unblocking every single toilet around me within a 25 mile radius.

Great item to un block sinks and toilets , only use on solvent jointed pipe work , can blow push fit ones apart ,Had problem with next doors drains going in to mine , tried roding pipe work to main drain but didn't work , gave our toilet 10 pump with this item and cleaned the pipe work out a treat ,Very easy to use and saves a lot of time and a call out charge ,

My Mrs is a nightmare for blocking the drains. If it’s not her over stressed dyed hair falling out in bigger clumps than a chemo patient it’s her massive jobbies.This week we hit peak blockage, every time you flushed the toilet in two adjacent en suite bathrooms the shower trays filled up with “water” and the bathroom filled with a stench worse than death itself.After emptying an entire case of Mr Muscle drain unblocker down various plug holes gave no joy I was resigned to a future of being elbow deep in her effluent (and not in a good way for once).In a last ditch attempt before dressing up like Walter White in Gus Fring’s basement I ordered this product.After enduring a 24 hour stench fest while we waited for delivery I couldn’t be happier.Two pumps and the job was done (just the way she likes it).I can now relax knowing that next time she decides to dump a massive log in the pool I’ll be able to shower without my shoes on.

I have used the pump to unblock the drain pipe for the kitchen sink and I have succeeded to unblock the dishwasher pipe joined to the main pipe on a "T" joint. Therefore I have moved a blockage from dishwasher pipe on the main drain pipe ending up with a mess in the kitchen because that grease stopper on the main pipe didin't want to move anymore. Fortunately I have Home emergency response and they come quick and sort the problem. I would say the pump is very powerful but probably needs to be used by professional plumbers to avoid experiences like this. Especially in UK where the pipes and drainage are NOT at a German standard. Every little bit on plumbing cost a fortune to be repaired and the overall quality is very poor. Therefore I would rate this product as good but I have given it to a friend (not British plumber) who works in the plumbing field and knows better how to use it. Thanks! Radu Chiritoiu

Vraiment facile d utilisation, effet immediat dans mon cas.J avais posé la question, avant achat, afin de savoir si il n'y avait pas besoin de trop de force, les réponses m'ont convaincues, j'ai acheté et je n'ai pas du tout été déçueSuper simple et pratique et efficace, le seul moment ou on a besoin d un peu de force c'est lorsque l'on met l'embout, j ai du utiliser de la vaseline car je n'ai pas du tout de force dans les mains. Ça à fonctionné Impec..Le seul inconvénient que je lui trouve est que je suis dans un 2 pieces et que c'est un peu volumineux a stocker, mais vu l efficacite JE LE GARDE (surtout au vu des prix d'un plombier)

Glad I went with this rather than cheaping out, cleared my drain really fast with this.

Rothenberger 072070X - Desatascadora ropump super plusBuscaba potencia para desatascar lavabos y la he encontrado con esta desatascadora Rothenberger.Aunque parezca un poca cara,cuando la pruebas, su eficacia compensa el precio.Realmente funciona; nada más recibirla, la he probado en un lavabo que tenía embozado, que por problemas de construcción se me emboza muy a menudo. Hasta ahora, lo hacía con un serpentín para desembozar lavabos, pero era muy engorroso y difícil de hacer entrar el mismo hasta el lugar del atasco. Con esta bomba, es mucho más fácil, primero absorbes el agua, que previamente has llenado el lavabo y posteriormente, (habiendo tapado antes el respiradero del lavabo), al empujar, da una presión tal, que se lo lleva todo por delante. Con dos manchadas he tenido suficiente para desatascarlo, eso sí, si no vas con precaución y no lo tienes bien colocado, te pones perdido de agua. Pero esto no importa. Lo que importa, es que lo consigues en un periquete.Resumiendo: Excelente y muy eficaz. RECOMENDABLE al 100% !!!
