C'mon. it's real avid. Aside from being too pricey, they're high quality and exceed expectations.

Nice set, nice price. Not too fragile like some others I've bought. Red color makes them easy to see when looking for them. I haven't used the brushes so no comment on those, but the picks work good for cleaning.

I've got a ton of gun cleaning tools, picks, brushes, et al - just like lots of gun guys. This particular set, though, is the one I always end up using ever since I got it a few months ago. I have other Real Avid stuff, and I like it, too, so when I saw this set I decided to grab it - glad I did. The plastic/poly tools are flexible but strong, and are far safer than metal (even brass) tools when scrubbing down a rifle or pistol. I can really apply pressure to break up stuck-on carbon while not worrying about scratching the finish of my guns. The brushes are nylon and bronze-phosphor, which is pretty standard (for a reason). There are enough similar tools in this kit that I divided the tools up, 3 and 3, and took one 'set' to my workbench in the basement, while leaving the other 'set' up where my other guns are usually located. The entire kit is cheap enough that you can buy two, stick one away in a drawer someplace, and have a backup in case, God forbid, your tools are eventually broken/lost. Real Avid keeps on getting my personal business because they (for the most part) make practical tools that are reliable and strong enough to hold up. I'd buy again in a second, w/o a doubt.

Great for carbon cleaning an engine with a follow up of walnut blasting. These picks did not melt when in contact with intake valve cleaner, unlike other picks I bought at half the cost. Who knew you get what you pay for?

Good non maring tools. Don't know how well they'll hold up with use yet.

These are good for what non-metal picks are made to do. They will reach into small spaces and remove debris that is not “baked on” without scratching your gun. Just keep in mind they are polymer and will flex.

Nice little tool kit for use in hard to reach places like air purifier and dryer.

Many other brush sets like this are so thin and brittle that they just break when you use them. This set is more robust. The handles being plastic and the bristles being soft enabling cleaning without marring the finish. I'm pretty happy with this set.
