This wallet has completely changed my view on wallets! Prior to this I have been using the long western style wallets and before that I had bi-fold wallets. I decided to give this a shot mostly because I liked the color and because I was curious. I have to say, I will never be going back to any other wallet that isn't one of these! It carries all of my card, ID's, and cash with no problem. I was initially concerned about the cash portion because I like to carry cash with me but, it has no problem with that. I have never felt that it will drop my cards or cash. The size of it make such a huge difference to! It is small enough that it is not uncomfortable to carry around in any pocket but big enough that you know it's there and are not panicking that you have lost it. It is also very durable. By no means have I been soft with the wallet. I have actually been very rough with it and I am very impressed that the only damage it has received is minor scuffs and scrapes. I have put tools, screws, nuts and nails in the same pocket and it still looks so good. For me a mark of a good product is if I would gift it to someone else and I have bought so many others for birthday, Christmas, and fathers day gifts. I can see this being the last wallet I will ever have to buy! I highly recommend the product whether it be for you of someone else.

This product is excellent. Machining, finish, color, evenness of color... everything about the Ridge wallet is 100%. I am so pleased with it that I really wanted to leave a review. Now honestly, I don't understand the strap. It's supposed to hold your cash, but I don't really see how that would work well. I understand the money strap is a new thing, a young man thing, so that is cool, whatever. Still, I exchanged mine for the money clip (and also the Burnt Titanium color) and somewhat surprisingly, the fit and finish were one again perfect. Even the clip is placed evenly, perfectly shaped, no nicks or scratches. I mean, where there is so much ..... out there, it's just really nice to see someone taking pride in their work and putting out such a beautiful product. Lastly, yes, there are copies of the Ridge wallet, but as you look closer you will see they are a cheaper product. For example, the edges are not rounded smooth and to perfection as on the Ridge wallet. This would be an excellent gift for a girl trying to find something really nice for her guy. Anyway, there you go. If you don't mind spending a little extra money you will be very happy you did.

**update: I’ve been using it for about a month now and I definitely like it a lot more than when I first got it. Its plenty strong, and to amend my initial reaction, it will do just fine in your back pocket I think. But it’s so tiny that id keep it in the front. The anodized paint is holding better than I thought. I keep it in the same pocket as keys and there’s only a few micro scratches so far. Im sure down the road it’ll lose it, but meh, just adds character. The function of it does take some getting used to. After you push on the thumb indent, you can pretty easily grab the top or bottom cars. It gets easier after brakin it in. You can grab the whole stack of cards and pull them out a touch to more easily grab them. Or pull and fan them out or pull and then open the cards up like a coin purse. Biggest tip - Don’t be shy about stretching the elastic!!!! It’ll be just fine! I just got it, put all my cards in, I like it. But we’ll see if it lasts. “Military grade” or not, the aluminum plates are probably 20-22 gauge (1/32) and screwed into plastic. Which I get, milling each half out of solid aluminum isn’t economical, and you wouldn’t get any flex at all. And really it does feel solid, will work for vast majority, but it’s not some bullet proof wallet, like you wouldn’t want to put it in your back pocket (the ad does say front pocket design I believe). Great wallet definitely worth it

First and foremost, to be quite honest, the price is pretty ridiculous. This is 2 business card sized pieces of plastic, 2 business card sized pieces of metal with some color and about 6in of elastic band. The "lifetime warranty" surely better replace this free of charge whenever the elastic breaks, screws go missing (they do provide you extra screws in the box). I question heavily the longevity of this against a leather wallet that I put aside which is decades old and still strong. Time will tell. The wallet is very convenient as far as size is concerned. I personally still keep it in my back pocket however depending on where I may be or what I may be doing, it's very slim and compact to toss in my front pocket for safe keeping. I like the idea of having this minimalist wallet only carrying bear essentials. It IS a very nice wallet but again, the price for what you get is pretty ludicrous. I dont know that I see this lasting the decades my leather wallet has. The elastic band are questionable. Never had to do a "maintenance" on the ol leather wallet. This DOES take some getting used to. As others have stated, you will fumble and have to find your groove and how you want to get the cards in/out. It's just different. If youre looking for a smaller wallet, go for it. If you want to try something new and ditch the big leather wallet that you inevitably pack full of unnecessary things, go for it. You wont be disappointed.
