NZ-1 Manual Coil Winding Machine

What a life saver. I am a hobbyist and need to wind coils, this makes your coils turn out perfect and it’s lighting fast. It even has a built it wind count so I don’t lose count !

The gear train turns through roughly. Perhaps this should get smoother with use. But it did prove to be very useful for winding my simple coils. And I really do appreciate the two spindle systems. Thanks, and God bless

Good for very light highly flexible wire, no chance it's going to wind 14awg magnet wire, the tiny handle with 8:1 ratio gear renders it very low torque with high speed, 5 stars due to my own ignorance in these types of machines being low torque, I'll use it eventually for smaller wire, machine is as described.

I used this to re wind a field coil. Was able to produce a decent looking 10,000 turn 34 AWG coil. I haven’t really gotten it to level wind without assistance yet. Seems well constructed. Counter works and winds smoothly. Do have to build your own jig to hold the spool you are winding from.

Very nice. The chuck makes it very easy to use.

A well built little machine that greatly improves the experience of winding coils.

Opening the box the winding machine and spindle were visible. The chuck (drill head) was wrapped separately and tucked under the main winding machine which itself was wrapped. I had to unwrap the main machine to find the chuck. The unit works as advertised.
