The garlic closely followed by the peppered steak are the best flavours here in my opinion. Habanero's heat mask any flavour it might have Peri Peri is ok but not my thing BBQ is disappointing, I don't think I would guess that was the flavour if I didn't know in advance. Teriyaki was bland. The garlic one really is good and I could quite easily sit eat a kilo in less than a day which is why I just ordered it again, lots of flavour there and very moreish. The peppered steak surprised me as that's the one I would have expected to be a bit bland but it has a nice flavour to it definitely munchable. If your on a low carb diet these make a great snack to replace crisps and such. The only problem with buying 1kg at a time is the 500g bags would be better if the came in 250g or 100g bags, that way I might be less likely to eat 500g in one go. 5 Stars for the kilo of the garlic one I bought last time yum.

I've had the bbq, garlic, regular and teriyaki flavours and i must say they are all very nice but my favourite is teriyaki because i think the biltong is softer and is sweeter, the garlic is very garlicy but also quite nice, the bbq has a smokey flavour to it but it's not very noticable for me and also the bbq and garlic when i purchased them seemed to be a bit harder than the teriyaki and for me personally i like my biltong to be a bit softer. Comparing it to other brands of biltong; beefit is supreme. Comparing it to beef jerky which you can buy in supermarkets and online; beefit biltong dominates the market for quality, price, and flavour. (I don't really know the difference between jerky and biltong as to me they're both similar, it's seasoned/marinated meat being slowly cooked in a process of dehydration at a low temperature.) Just buy a bag or try a few different flavours, you can't go wrong as they're all delicious and i personally recommend the teriyaki flavour as the best there is.

My family are biltong feinds and we have tried it from quite a few places. This is the first time I have bought it online where I couldn’t choose it before it was cut. However it would be impossible for the vendor to supply Biltong online to everyone’s exact tastes. If you have that need then it would be wise to visit a local South African shop. I personally have a preference for a slightly more moist Biltong than what was sent here (hence 4 stars), but I didn’t find it too dry like jerky. The flavour was strong and distinctive and was enjoyed by all. I’m glad it was packaged in 2x500g bags as it meant we could spread out the useage time. This is a great non-mess and non-sticky snack for children and adults alike. It is at home in a lunchbox as it is a bar snack. The fat content was minimal which is great as it reduces the risk of spoiling. All in all if you want something different to give to the kids or at a party or on a hike or in front of a film then this is a great and healthier option. I had garlic flavour, but I will be giving other flavours a go too.

I love all kinds of Jerky and Biltong and this Biltong is... ok! Its not particularly flavourful, and absolutely not at all hot (I ordered the Red Hot Chilli flavour). In fact, it largely just tastes of plain beef biltong. I was hoping for something genuinely spicy or with a nice spicy flavour but the seasoning doesn't come through at all. Secondly, for a Biltong it's very dry. I understand Biltong is dried meat, but with other products that doesn't matter as much as they also contain the marbling and fat which contributes to a softer texture and juicier bite, but this product is VERY lean, which is great for people who love it lean and are watching the calories but for me I personally really missed it. It makes each mouthful extremely dry and tacky, unpleasant to chew though, which would be fine if the flavour was there but it simply wasn't. Certainly not a bad Biltong, and for people on Keto or dieting in general this is a really good snack which I'd thoroughly recommend with some sauce to dip in. I tackled the latter half of my first bag with some sweet buffalo wing sauce and that worked a treat. Have fun, meat lovers!

I am not a biltong connoisseur . I just needed some healthy snacks for my keto diet so I don’t know how high in the biltong hierarchy this product will be. But this meat is sooooo goooood. I chose bbq flavour as a safe spot to start but is the best bbq I ever had. It comes in 2 bags of half a kilo each very handy.i split one of them in little snack bags and I froze them but really there was no need for that as it went so fast I could have had it from the original bag. Both my husband and I we eat them a lot I don’t think that will last very long. My husband is very picky with meats, especially beef he always sniffs the steaks and says they smell funny and I was hoping I will enjoy this kilo of lovely biltong all by myself but no chance. This converted him for good. This is seriously good stuff, these people are not joking , they know their stuff. It is in my list to try all the flavours. Yum

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von diesem Produkt. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und sicher, Amazon halt. Das Jerky ist super. Die Stücke haben eine gute Dicke, so dass sie nicht ganz trocken oder zäh sind, sondern sehr saftig. Das ist bisher die beste Konsistenz, die ich in Beef Jerky Produkten gefunden habe. Der Geschmack ist ebenfalls überragend, aber das ist letztendlich subjektiv. Ich habe es jedenfalls fertig gebracht, 1 kg in nur einer Woche zu essen. Es macht wirklich süchtig. Die Nährwerte gehen völlig in Ordnung, sehr niedriger Zucker/Kohlenhydratgehalt. Der Fettgehalt ist ebenfalls niedrig, da kommt es natürlich immer auf die individuelle Diät an, ob man dies positiv oder negativ bewertet. Und auch preislich ist das Produkt im Vergleich zu Anderen deutlich günstiger. Ich würde das Beef Jerky jederzeit wieder bestellen.

Biltong typique de South Africa. Le goût prononcé des epices typique de l'Afrique du Sud. Pas trop salé, piquant mais avec une douceur. Un petit bémole pour moi : le biltong est parfois trop sec, donc he le conserve pas dans le frigo.

Schmeckt sehr gut MHD auch in Ordnung

Rien a dire concernant le nutritionnel, le fait que le 1kg soit en 4 paquet évite que la viande sèche le temps qu'on termine, c'est une bonne chose.
