I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I use this salad spinner. It’s great for lettuce, but I’ve found myself reaching for it to wash and dry beans, corn, cauliflower, and other vegetables too. It does an excellent job removing excess water, which helps veggies roast better and keeps salads from getting watery. The 5-quart size is perfect for making family-sized portions, and the spin mechanism is smooth and easy to use. I also like the stop button, which makes it simple to control without waiting for it to slow down on its own. Cleanup is quick, and it has held up well with regular use. If you’re looking for a versatile kitchen tool that does more than just spin salad, this one is definitely worth having.

I bought this salad spinner for my daughter-in-law, my husband bought me the same one a few years ago and I love it. It is sturdy as it has a rubber that is on the bottom so it sticks to surfaces and the handle that spins the inner cage is too, it also has a stopper so you can stop the spinning action quickly if you need to. The water drains out of the top without having to remove the top so you can give it another spin if you need . The design makes it possible to keep one hand on the top of the bowl while the other hand spins the cage the top is held on my a very securely with a clasp. The clear plastic bowl that comes with it is strong. The inner cage that the veggies sit on inside the bowl is easy to insert and remove for easy handling and washing. Make sure it says Cuisinart, there are other brands that look just like it, so be careful when ordering. I bought the larger size so you can wash a half a head of lettuce at one time. My daughter-in-law said she uses it for other veggies and fruit as well. I'm going to buy another one for my daughter too.

This salad spinner works great. Easy to use. Holds plenty. The reason for 4 stars is that it is made of hard plastic. If you drop it, it will probably break. My old one that I had for years was made of soft plastic, but the mechanism finally wore out. Pretty much impossible to replace that one. So, if you’re careful with it, this one is excellent.

Purchased this as a replacement of a Cuisinart Salad Spinner I had that cracked which I used daily. This is not as good as the first one I had. The lid doesn’t lock in correctly and I spend more time trying to line it up with the bowl. When I try to spin the inside piece doesn’t line up correctly and the top handle jerks. The inside knob does not stay screwed in. I’ve also noticed after draining the inside of the bowl stays wet and the salad doesn’t last as long as the previous one I owned. I would’ve returned this item but it was past the allowable date. Wish I could’ve gotten the same one that I originally had but it wasn’t available. Will be purchasing something else.

This is my new favorite purchase. Clean and dry lettuce every time. Works great with berries too.

I should've read the reviews more carefully. This is not a Cuisinart salad spinner but a cheaply made dupe.

Does what a salad spinner does. It is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean. I like the clamps, so I dont have to hold the lid on. Also the spouse , i just put it in the sink and spin it would recommend.

I love this spinner. I bought one in August from a different supplier for only $20 and when I went to buy one as a gift for Christmas, it was sold out. So I bought one through another supplier for around $26 and when it arrived it was a cheap knock-off. Returned it and bought this one, unfortunately had to pay $30. If you are not purchasing from this supplier, make sure you check before buying that it has the brake — this model has a brake (the cheaper one did not), sturdy clips that attach the lid to the base (the cheaper one had flimsy thin clips), and a much sturdier handle to spin with. Very happy with this product — easy to use, doesn’t wobble on the counter thanks to the rubber on the base, feels sturdy when spinning, easy to clean.
