these worked great for fixing my low voltage yard lights. Lights have pinch connectors that lose contact after so many years. Used these to fix them then wrapped with weatherproof electrical tape.

These are awesome to work with, they work great!

These are great for connecting wires. They are simpe to use and when properly attached give you a solid connection. My only gripe is because when using smaller wires such as 22 gauge, when you close the alligator clamp around the wire, the metal inside the clamp is supposed to cut through the wire insulation so that its a metal on metal connection. However, this doesnt happen for a lot of the wires and you have to first manually cut away some of the insulation so that there is a solid connection. Other than that, excellent product.

Wired products are always good. I never had an issue with with there stuff. It’s all good.

Just tap into one wire and the kit comes with spade connectors to slide in the slot to connect the second wire. So easy to use. the important part is to use the right size for the wire you are tapping. Too large and it will not have a good connection. too small and you might actually cut the wire in half or really weaken it. use a test light or ohm meter to check the connection before closing it up.

Probably a good value if you're looking for an easy way to tap into wires without soldering but also beware that these T-Taps don't have any sharp edge to actually pierce the wire sheath so its very hit-or-miss with whether or not it'll actually get through the sheathing. My real issue is with the spade connectors, which don't seem to grab onto the wire particularly well when you crimp them. Its even worse at smaller gauges. I tried to use this for wiring a car stereo (18-20AWG stranded wire) and almost all of the ~23 spade connectors I attached to a wiring harness failed or got stuck in the T-Tap connector, resulting in the connector coming out of the plastic covering and/or pulling the wire out of the (crimped) spade connector. I compared with butt splices that I crimped the exact same way with the same tools and had a much better outcome. tl;dr these are probably good for larger gauge wiring even though its advertised for 18+ gauge, most of my spade connectors failed before or during first use, t-taps have no good way to puncture wire sheathing. disclosure: after my experience with these connectors (and a late-night trip to autozone for new butt splices) I returned this item for a refund.
