What size is XL and what size is L?

There is a size chart listed... when you are looking at the photo of the sock, swipe it to the left and it will pop up with all of the sizes. Large is 9.5-11.5 and XL is 12-14 mens

How high do these come on your leg? I’m looking for a sock to go under my ankle brace. I need one that goes to the top of the brace.

These come up about 2.5" above my ankle bone. I'm wearing them with high top Chuck Taylors and about one inch of the sock is visible above the top of the shoe. Shoe size: 12. Sock size: extra large.

I wear regular shoes size 9 (sometimes 9.5), and ordered socks size medium. They fit very well and tight. Thing is, these socks are mainly for preventing blisters, so they have to to fit tight. I did a 20mi run in the desert (plus many other training runs) and didn't have any problem. Great socks.

How do I know what size to order? Am i missing where it tells what sock size corresponds to men's or women's shoe sizes?

I wear a men's size 9.5 and mediums fit great, you want these to be snug.
