Glad I tried it, not the target audience BUT no stomach churn
I was always wondering why these things cost so much, like $3-4 a drink. The reason why is they take nutrition very seriously and much of their line (not this line of nutrition shake, however) can be used for tube feeding. I didn't realize KATE FARMS is actually very allergy friendly. Particularly if you or a loved one are allergic to "everything in the book", these folks might be a worthwhile option. This does not taste like a Boost or an Ensure where the overall flavor profile is "sweet". This is slightly more weird-offset by an earth taste of peas. On the other end of the spectrum, there have been nutrition drinks I've tasted (Soylent, Vega) that have flat out tasted disgusting and hurt my stomach, and this isn't nearly as bad. I'd place it 50%/50%. You don't want them to be so disgusting you feel revolted for drinking/offering them, but at the same time you don't want to pass up calories and "good" nutrition. And it's fairly balanced nutrition, not exaggeratedly protein heavy like so many frankenfood corporations want to incline towards. One of the best things I like about this drink is the nutrition doesn't hit your stomach like a freight train, even if you pair it with less-than-smart offerings like coffee which are more likely to upset your stomach. Is it "worth the price?" To be honest, not usually, but it sure is priced as a meal replacement. This was a fun exercise in trying out a nutrition drink from a lesser-known company you don't really see at Costco or the grocery stores. Will definitely continue drinking the rest of what I have, but unless prices improve, that's the last you'll see of me.

WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR
How in the world could a company selling such high priced organic drinks be so astronomically high in sugar??? it's so sweet it tastes disgusting -- like the milk leftover from lucky charms cereal. Not to mention terrible for health. This company needs to reduce the sugar by 70% to please buyers who actually care about purchasing organic. Never buying again.

Good, but heavy bloating
I would love to give this 5 stars but man oh man you'd think it had dairy in it the way it gives me bloating. I never get bloated but if I drink this everyday for a few days (maybe 2-3), I will have uncomfortable gas and bloating for at least 1-2 days after which is very noticable for someone who never gets bloated. I took a few days for a break and when I returned back to drinking it, it definitely was the shakes. It does taste good though. Also my first batch, the bottles were broken so I did appreciate that they sent me a replacement.

Wrong Product Being Sent
I love the protein shakes from Kate Farms, but I'm really picky about which ones I can have and which ones I like. I ordered a case of the Nutrition Shake vanilla. What I got was the Standard chocolate. It's a hassle for me to return them. So I've kept the chocolate as a back up. This is the third time this has happened. Decided to go to Kate Farms website and directly ordered a case of the vanilla Nutrition Shake. Wish me luck!
