Can this be used safely for cleaning kitchenware? i.e plates, glasses, mugs etc

I use it mainly for cleaning windows. I can' t imagine any equipment it's unsuitable for. It's just another version of paper kitchen towel but in much larger, probably tougher sheets for tackling larger items. I use it frequently and always have a roll in stock.

How long is the roll?
