Needed to weigh a 35kg piece of luggage and this caught my eye due to reviews and the fact that it looked relatively large, sturdy and balanced, with the hook located in the middle.Well, it did work, just. It started malfunctioning at just over 30kg, likely due to the weight pulling down too much and deforming the shape slightly. The result - scales switching off before being able to read the weight. I've no idea how it can possibly work at up to 50kg which it's advertised for.Also, it was a bit too short to hold comfortably when the suitcase reached over 30kg. It was possibly because we only had the top handle to hook the scale to, it might be different if you try to lift the bag from a lower point, e.g a duffle type of bag.To sum up, it's great up to around 30kg really. I do recommend it for that purpose. Anything above, I'd look for something sturdier.

This weighing scale is light, a little larger than I thought, and easy to use.I tested it on my own weighing scales with various items, and it always showed a bit heavy, which is really better than light, so I am very happy.

The first thing I needed to do was replace the battery that was showing 'Lo'. Then, the on/off button is dodgy and a fiddle to operate. It also randomly just turns off. Finally, the entire device is flimsy and seems unlikely to last at all.
