Lume Whole Body Deodorant Cream Tube & Solid Stick - 3oz & 2.6oz (Cucumber)

If you have been waiting to try Lume, let this be your sign to try it. As a menopausal woman I was having persistent odor in one armpit that kept coming back, immediately after showering almost, no matter what I used... apparently this is a thing when our hormones are shifting and changing. Having cut my ties with anti-perspirant and detoxed from all that aluminum years ago, I was not willing to go back to a traditional combo like that, but all my trusted natural deodorants, even the one I make on my own, were not helping this particular problem. Lume enters the chat... I was hesitant because of the price, but ordered the scent sampler cream deodorants so I could test out all the scents... and WOW, it totally, 100% took the odor away, and lasts 48-72 hours! I decided on my fave scents and ordered this set of Clean Tangerine (my number one pick)... the stick works just as well as the cream. The magic is in the mandelic acid, which does have a weird scent at first in the cream deoderant, but that 100% goes away once it's on. Here are my favorite scent picks. 1. Clean Tangerine, a delicate citrus but really just as it sounds... very clean smelling... not too strong and not too fruity. 2. A close second is the Lavender and Sage, only if you love lavender, it is very herby and delicious smelling, a bit stronger than the clean tangerine and heavy on the lavender. I love it. 3. Peony Rose, flowery and not too cloying, a bit strong at first but dries down light and floral... very girly. 4. Toasted Coconut, many people love this one the most, but for me, I don't love my armpits smelling like food... it's very warm and foody, almost more hazelnut creamer smelling to my nose. It does eventually smell like coconut after a few hours. 5. Fresh Alpine, I wanted to like this one more, but it reminds me of a typical, sweet, men's cologne... which I do not mind, it just smells more masculine than I want to smell. It lasted a long time too. 6. Cucumber mint... nah, too basic bathroom air freshener smelling for me, and too strong. I did not test the unscented, but that is a great option if you want 0 interference from scents, and the soft powder, because that did not appeal to me at all.

I've been hearing all the praise about Lume and I was curious about the product. Imagine, a product that I can use on my baby sensitive skin, that would not make me break out is a rash, itch or have to call my Dermatologist for an appt AND you can basically put it anywhere on your body to control bacteria that causes body odor. I had to try it and I did. Now, I'll be the first to say $30 for 2pack of deodorant is an exorbitant, but this stuff works for me and my sensitive skin seems to like it as well. However, my sister tried it and her body chemistry is different from mine and I wanted to know if she got the same result. .My sister did not get the same result as I did. The cream worked for the groin area, but the stick did not work for her under arms. My sister likes the smell on Lume, but for a person that sweats like she does and works in a Fab, having to wear clothing that makes you sweat and smell more, Lume is not the answer for controlling body odor. So, Lume appears to work for people who do not sweat a lot. So, even though I will definitely buy it again, cause it worked for my body chemistry, certain people that sweat more than average may need to consider what is currently working for them before spending this amount of money on deodorant that may or may not work for their body chemistry.

I am not one to write reviews, but thought I should. Lately, I've developed sensitivity in my armpits due to my own sweat after I shave my pits when I do shave, I normally I use a epiliator to remove my hair, since I can not wax them on my own (I've tried). Anyway, I've been searching for the last 6 years for new deodorants as I used to only use Old Spice. Yes, I know that its a men's deodorant/antiperspirant but I loved the smell and it worked all day. But then it caused a rash, so I heard about aluminum free. Ive tried so many natural deodorants from Crystal to Tom's. Then named brands like Dove or Secret that have aluminum free ingredients. To no avail, these ended up causing or increasing my rash developments. And because of all these type of aluminum free deodorants my pits development a pigmentation. So not attractive and made feel unclean. So I broke down and tried lume. Not knowing what scent to choose or cream versus the standard stick. With scents,I can not stand Vanilla scents, the unscented had mix reviews so I chose the Peony Rose. The stick smelled pleasant, not strong so nice but the stick will only last you 6 weeks. I bought this on 11/1 and used it on day one. However, on day one I smelled the cream and by golly that was the worse smelling thing ever. I'm going to use it since I am out of the stick and see if it just as good as the stick version, I'll just have to not put it against my nose. I have changed my subscribe and save to a different scent- the toasted coconut, so I'll be back to update about if the new scent is better. But overall- lume kept my bo at bay, healed the discoloration of my pits and did not cause a rash but healed my rashes (with a little help of a good organic diaper cream). This product is costly, like all other things. But, if it helps and works I'll have to make due. More review coming soon after I get the coconut scented one.

The product works very well. But I would not get this scent again. I’ll try the coconut one next time.

I suddenly developed an issue with irritation on my armpits. Redness, a little burning sensation and the like. I tried a number of products but have found that this product mixed with a few drops of mandelic acid prevents this and is excellent for eliminating any odor. I don’t agree that it lasts 72 hours so I use both daily. I use a little mixed with Tamanu oil and Amylactin lotion on other parts of my body and it seems to counter the odor those products emit.

I am a sweaty person in the south US and always have been. Aluminum free deodorants don’t work well for me either. However, I was influenced to give this a try. I normally love vanilla so decided to purchase that scent in this duo pack. Unfortunately, I cannot say that the odor protection works better than any other brand when used on my under arms. The lotion does seem to work a little better than the stick deodorant, but neither work for more than a few hours on my underarms. Odor control on other body parts seems to work better for me, though. I haven’t noticed any skin irritation when using the lotion or the stick. The stick is not wet at all and the lotion dries quickly which I appreciate. The only downside to this particular scent is that the lotion has a very bad initial smell. It almost already has a body odor smell that I find extremely off putting. Luckily, when it dries down the bad smell is less noticeable, but it’s still there. I don’t notice the bad smell from the stick, but the lotion is almost overpowering for me. At the price I don’t feel that this works good enough for me to repurchase. And the bad smell of the lotion leads me to recommend avoiding the vanilla smell or trying to smell a sample somewhere before purchasing to see if the scent is as off putting to you as well.

I like the way Lume works. So far I have only used a soap and deodorant stick. I bought the 2 pack Toasted Coconut soap and deodorant stick: I disliked the scent on the deodorant stick, as it was way to strong and cloyingly sweet like cheap halloween candy. But, the Toasted Coconut soap smelled great, as it was not as strong and pronouced: so I kept the soap and gave the deodorant stick away. Still searching for a scent that could work, I next tried the Vanilla Bliss deodorant stick and cream 2 pack. Well, it's the same problem: I did not even have to remove the seal on the cream and could already smell the strong overly cloyingly sweet faux vanilla scent which smelled way too strong and sweet like candy, so I packed it back up and filed for a return. It's the difference between real essentail oils and not real 'perfume oils' scent... I use essential oils a lot, then I can really smell the difference. The 2 scents: Vanilla Bliss and Toasted Coconut were not a real scent but way too sweet for me personally, although others might like them. So far the only scent which is not overpowering for the deodorant stick, is the Soft Powder scented deodorant stick, which I tried in a tiny travel size found locally. Yes it's a fake scent, but it is not too overpowering, and stays in the backgorund where it belongs; is pleasant and not too sweet. I do not need a trumpet candy scent blaring out from my armpits, and I don't want to smell like halloween candy. Its a really good idea for this product to use the "mandelic acid, a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that works by changing the skin's pH to make it inhospitable to odor-causing bacteria" and so far for me it works great! And I did not notice much skin irritation - only a small amount after taking a bath while using the soap bar in the bathtub, which caused the inside of my wrists to flare up a bit, but it faded after I dried off. No big deal. The only problem with this - as it's such a great idea that works - is the fake scents, some which can be a bit overpowering. If they used real essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, patchouli, etc., that is not too expensive and smells a better, or even real coconut oil which is inexpensive, but actually smells good, it would be 100% better. Real scents vs. fake. Hint, Lumi execs.

I recently purchased Lume Deodorant( my daughter told me about it), and I have to say—I’m seriously impressed! The cream smells of cheese. And that smell does not dissipate. I'm not sure why anyone would want to smell like cheese. It's supposed to be unscented. Perhaps it's gone off. The stick is unscented and works well but not perfect. Needs reapplying and does not last three days - although I've never tried for three days, it has needed reapplying after a few hours.

Amazing product! My mum gave me one of the sticks from her promo she got from ordering on their website and now I’m a returning customer. Does what it says it does. And it’s wonderful having a product you can use anywhere on your body, as our pits aren’t the only thing that develops odour!

Product smells great! It's nice to apply however it's only a deodorant. If you are a sweater it falls short. No odour but dampness. It's also pricey.

This stuff is amazing. I use it every day - sometimes twice (just because). It lasts all day and keeps the smell (down there) completely away. I wish I knew about this long ago. The tangerine is my favourite smell of them all. Also purchased the lavender - it's nice but not as nice as this one.
