My only minor advice during setup involves checking the metal edges. While the edges on the connection points look like they were filed down at the factory, the nature of stamped metal means there is always a potential for small, sharp knurled pieces or burrs to catch your skin during assembly. A great pole. I have several brushes and a net so I wanted more than one pole. Easy to use and I thought the price was right. Lasted through the season and have no doubt it will perform just as well next pool season. I can always switch between brushes and nets so it is easily versatile.

I bought my husband an expensive pool leaf vacuum for Christmas but when he tried it once the pool was open, the flimsy plastic pole didn't even go deeper than the entry stairs. I looked online and found this pole to replace it. Yes, it fits the leaf vacuum. Yes it is very long. Yes it is sturdy.
