Good bang for the buck.
First the cons but they are minor. I had to file the T nuts to make them slide in my Delta Unisaw slots. Not a big deal and Iโll admit itโs hard to make them fit every saw out there. The other minor issue was zeroing out the scales with the supplied wrench. It rounded over without loosening up the tiny button head screws. I tossed them out and used my own hex wrenches which were better quality. Other than that it works beautifully. The scale gets you close to the thickness you want and itโs easy to fine tune it to the size you want. I like the black and white scales for the visibility and set both indicators to a zero spot for redundancy and accuracy. The one way bearing is ok but I think unnecessary. I using this for making splines for saw kerfs in door molding. I was tired of guessing what the thickness was to fit into the saw kerf. I also plan to make Kumiko strips out of the scrap wood I have laying around. Once set it should make accurate repeated cuts. I suppose I could have made my own jig but the price is reasonable. Itโs a great tool if you need to make consistent thin strips.

This tool works well for what it is designed to do.
Nice tool. clamps nice in the slot. Holds its setting. I soon learned how to set the fence to it after each strip. Not a necessary tool for me but nice to have. The fact that the small strip is loose away from the blade is a safety feature. The one way roller is just for advertising.

Works on Dewalt table saw
Has the length to actually work on my Dewalt 10inch table saw where others I have purchased were to short to reach the blade. I was able to cut 1/4 thin oak with repeatable accuracy. Price was also a plus. Heavy duty and built to last.

Jig Works, but the Scale Is Basically Useless (0 Is Not Blade-Flush)
The jig itself works fine for repeatable thin rips once you physically position it and lock it down. Fit in the T-slot is good and itโs stable during the cut. However, the measurement gauge is not accurate at all. Some product photos make it look like โ0โ aligns flush to the blade, but on my saw (Delta 36-725) itโs nowhere close. Thereโs also no practical way to calibrate the scale to your blade/slot geometry, so the printed measurements canโt be trusted. Bottom line: buy it for the jig function, not the gauge. Plan on using test cuts and/or measuring from the blade with a separate setup method if you need accurate strip width.

Great Safety and Ease of Use Assist
I received the replacement for the first one that had a defect. The second one is perfect. It is easy to use and makes cutting thin strips from a wider board not only safer but more accurate. It is faster too, but that is not key as you always want to be careful when using a table saw. This also can be used on my router table to ensure the board is kept in correct contact. Note that some reviews mentioned the bearing on one end wasn't working, but they may not realize the bearing only spins one way (by design turns only toward back of saw) to ensure there is no kickback.

Its fine
Assuming the mreasurements are accurate, its pretty nice. Very sturdy. I have not done any precision tests. Its good enough for wood working. You can of course make your own with wood as has been done for decades.

Perfect for the Dewalt Table Saw
I've been really happy with this thin rip jig. I use it on my DeWalt table saw, and it fits and works exactly as I was hoping. It makes cutting repetitive thin strips much safer and far more consistent than trying to measure each cut against the fence. The adjustment is straightforward, it locks down securely, and once it's set, I can make repeat cuts with very little variation. The build quality feels solid, and everything moves smoothly without a lot of play. If you regularly make thin strips for woodworking projects, this is a tool that's worth having. It has saved me time, improved the accuracy of my cuts, and given me a lot more confidence when making narrow rip cuts. Overall, it's a simple but very effective addition to my table saw setup.

Great value for a great tool
I had the chance this morning to use the guide to rip some quarter inch strips of poplar. The tool worked beautifully. The metal guides would not fit in the tracks on my Jet contractor's saw so I used the plastic option that came with the kit. The hex key that came with the set to adjust the indicator was too soft to turn the hex key. It rounded over immediately. I threw it away and used a good one that I already had. Other than that I am very happy with the purchase.

Safe secure method to cut repeat thin strips
Just the job for repeat cutting of thin strips - I cut down treated wood to make my own garden trellis.

This jig is surprisingly good!
This jig is surprisingly good! It fits securely in the u channel mitre slot of my old Ryobi table saw and effectively guides the wood through the blade at the correct thickness. Donโt hesitate to buy this version, particularly if you are not using a t-slot.

Quality product
I seldom post reviews, but this one is definitely worth mentioning Out of the box preliminary review 5/5. This is a quality product, with professional packaging and presentation. Bought the product after reading all the reviews on Amazon (some negative, most overwhelming positive) Tool is of the same quality as Woodpeckers, Dasqua and Accud. Perfect machining of aluminum, glide and finish. Accessories for the mitre saw track fitting on Dewalt DWE7492 table saw are included, these are also made of high grade aluminum (not included on the Red thin rip guide). Quality product, at a fraction of the price of the Red brand, will use it after assembly and post a follow up review. Thanks Amazon for overnight delivery.
