HORI Farming Vehicle Control System for PC (Windows 11/10)

As soon as I got my Hori FS wheel , joystick and pedals I updated it as advised by Hori to prevent the problem with the steering wheel. I’ve used it for a month now with no problems at all. I think the quality is very good apart from the buttons on the control panel could have been a bit more premium, but everything works perfectly. The joystick is really nice to use and very precise as is the steering wheel which is very comfortable and very precise also. The indicator stalk is a very nice addition. The pedals work very well also. It’s very easy to change the controls settings. For me, the only downside is the price.. I think it’s overpriced by about £100. I bought it to replace my Saitek / Logitech Farm sim control panel and wheel, and the new Hori wheel and joystick are much much better. Overall the quality is very good, and hopefully it will last for several years.. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy one

once i recieved the Hori farming conrtol systerm i went on to https://hori.co.uk/hpc-043u/ and downloaded the firmware update software. with the update i have not had isusse with the steering wheel which was report earlier in the reviews. there is no force back on the steering which does not bother me. the main reason for me buying it is the joystick control unit which once you master the function on each buttons works perfectly for me. you can also remap the buttons in the farming simulator 22 game. over all have found the Hori farming vehicle control system very good.

Improves gameplay. Highly recommend.

The steering wheel worked for about 20 minutes and then stopped working would stay in full lock left while steering wheel was straight.

Great build, hard to get use to but you can get it after a while

[UPDATE] 3/5 I have today returned this product. While most of which I mentioned originally still applies the durability is just not there. In only a short period the wheel itself is 'loose' from the base (It could have been like this from the start and I not noticed). For example there is flex when you press on either side of the wheel, aka the wheel moves and the base does not. There is also a few centimetre movement if you lift the wheel away from the base. Honestly for £380 it's just not good enough even with all the accessories, my main concern being I have no confidence in it lasting much longer than its basic 1 year warranty period. I do hope they will release the side unit (joystick and buttons) separately at some point as I would definitely considering adding that to my setup considering it is a reasonable price. The joystick and lever feels good with no flex unlike the wheel. In conclusion. It works, the wheel, buttons, pedals, joystick, they function. The quality however is not there and traditional gaming wheels for less money feel so much better. I am going to be getting myself a more 'racing' focused wheel as the quality is so much better than this and includes force feedback. I am then planning to add a Thrustmaster Farmstick for control of telehandlers/forklifts etc (as I really enjoyed this aspect of the product). [ORIGINAL REVIEW] 4/5 Seen a lot of reviews that are based on the release day issues so here is my first impressions on it with the firmware update installed. First things first it does absolutely work, the firmware update seems to have fixed any steering issues. The materials feel good, the buttons feel ok, just ok. Some of the large buttons on the control unit feel cheap but the stuff you touch most the time (wheel, joystick, lever control thing) feel good with a rubbery type material. The pedals themselves are metal which is nice, the pedal base is plastic and again feels ok. Durability is obviously TBD but no obvious issues. Compatibility wise it obviously works well with Farm Sim, with most key binds already being pre-setup. It does also (despite what I have seen on reddit/reviews) work very well with American truck sim (ATS). ATS has very good wheel support therefore you can adjust pretty much everything including steering, pedals, button maps etc. You can setup the indicator stalk to be your D/N/R level and if you wanted the buttons on the back of the wheel for gear changing (but I use true auto). So first impressions are good, it does seem to be 'worth it' if not on the higher end price wise. You get alot of components for the money even if there is no feedback system on the wheel.

Hey folks, just thought I’d put some of my thoughts together after 3 days of using the Hori Farming Simulator setup for PC. I’ll go over my pros and cons, what I like and what I don’t, since there doesn’t seem to be a ton of reviews out there aside from some outdated Amazon reviews and videos from YouTubers who were sent it to review; hopefully it’ll help you decide if it’s something you want to purchase or not! We’ll start the with the pros. For starters, if you’re like massively into FS, you’ll love it. It adds a whole new level to your immersion, and for me, it’s made every task so much more rewarding, since it’s obviously a little more demanding than a gamepad etc. I’ve encountered zero bugs so far, which was the main issue I’ve seen everyone online complaining about; it seems the wheel used to have issues with registering movement/turning when it wasn’t actually being moved, however it seems Hori have fixed this with a software update, which they mentioned online and also on a piece of paper inside the box. The side panel/joystick is definitely the star of the show, being far more realistic than its Logitech counterpart, I would guess being on par with the Thrustmaster farmstick. The buttons are nicely and realistically laid out, and the hand throttle, light/indicator stalk, and steering knob are welcome additions. Further, the ‘mode’ button on the loader joystick opens up extra functionality by allowing extra key binds. Overall it’s just a great product and if you want to take your experience to the next level of immersion, I believe this is absolutely the way to do it. And now for the cons. We’ll start with the price, which I believe is about £50-£100 too high; I purchased mine from Amazon for £370 ($471 USD) which did hurt a bit, but since FS is my most played game, I didn’t mind paying. I think the build quality is good, but its not quite ‘£370 good’, especially since the wheel also lacks force feedback, and auto-returns to the centre, which they do not do IRL. The biggest issue so far has been the button mapping/keybind stuff; when I first used the system very few of the controls worked, but resetting all the keybinds to standard fixed this. However, I find the default keybinds to be a bit unnatural and like, just all over the place, so it takes a while to figure out where you want your actions/functions to be, and to get them to work. Another issue with keybinds is the lack of control options for navigating the in-game menu/shop/map area (this is an issue with all wheels I believe, not just the Hori), which means a keyboard or gamepad is still necessary for some actions. The addition of the hand throttle is a welcome one, however, I can’t seem to get it to work alongside the foot pedal controls like it would IRL, it seems you can only control the throttle with one or the other, which has been a bit disappointing (although I could be the problem there, maybe I just haven’t worked it out yet). Another thing worth noting is that this wheel/pedals/side panel setup is for *PC ONLY*, it does not work with consoles, but that’s fine for me since I’m a PC user. I’ll finish up with a little TLDR: PROS: . Immersive . More rewarding experience . Bug-free . Realistic controls layout . Great functionality for keybinds CONS: . A bit overpriced . Build quality is ‘fine’, not amazing but not bad at all . Lack of force-feedback . Time-consuming to change keybinds . Hand throttle doesn’t work alongside the foot throttle Overall, setting aside a few issues with key binds and the price, I’m loving this setup so far; it makes everything so much more fun and rewarding, and it makes little things I might usually hire AI to do, fun again. If it were paired with a proper farming sim gearstick etc, it would be the perfect setup IMO. If you’re able to justify the price, and you don’t want to purchase different sim components from different brands, and don’t mind potentially taking some time to set your own key binds for the controls, I highly recommend the Hori Farming Vehicle Control System!

It’s good for what it’s designed for

Still can't believe I spent this much money on something for a game! But what a world of difference it makes! I don't regret it! Only downfall so far is it's April of 2026 and 1 button is starting to stick, and that it not actually compatible with other driving games. Other than that, no complaints!

Es muy importante actualizar antes de conectar al ordenador, seguir las instrucciones actualizadas y funciona perfectamente. Yo he mapeado todos los botones del volante y el mando pues no me gusta como vienen, y funciona perfectamente.

Meiner Erfahrung nach beziehen sich die negativen Bewertungen auf die Firmware-Version vor dem Update. Ich nutze das System jetzt seit rund 40 Stunden und kann die beschrieben Probleme mit dem Lenkwinkel nicht feststellen. Ich spielte den FS anfangs einige Zeit mit einen G29 und der Seitenkonsole von Saitek. Damit waren die Steuerungsmöglichkeiten jedoch sehr begrenzt, was mich nervte, und ich deswegen auf einen Controller umstieg, was aber auch seine Einschränkungen mit sich brachte, weshalb ich meist mit CP und AD die Fahrzeuge steuerte. Anders mit diesem System. Anfangs war die Verwirrung groß, weil die Standardeinstellungen für die Steuerung alle auf die Tasten des Lenkrads gelegt waren (Steering). Deren Bedienung ist natürlich beim Fahren, wenn man am Kurbeln ist, blöd. Also hieß es, erst mal alle Einstellungen mühselig einzeln löschen und auf den Stick legen (Control Panel). Die Möglichkeiten sind hier zahlreich, weil man die Tasten nicht nur mit der Modi-Taste, sondern auch die Achsen des Sticks mit den beiden Tasten vorne am Stick, mehrfach belegen kann. So kann man mit dem Stick fahren, den Tempomat und die Frontlader bedienen. Und das macht richtig Laune. Die Arbeiten, die ich vorher CP überlies, mache ich jetzt mit Vergnügen selber. Dazu kommt noch der linke Handgashebel. Das bietet, zusammen mit IR Track (kann ich ebenfalls wärmstens empfehlen) eine geile Immersion. Bis jetzt habe ich noch nicht alles belegt. Das Lenkrad mit Handknauf bietet nochmals oben zehn Tasten (plus Hupe), die mit den untern beiden Tasten auch mehrfach kombiniert werden können. Dazu kommt noch der seitliche Multihebel für Licht, Blinker und Richtungswechsel, oder was auch immer. Die Verarbeitung ist gut. Klar ist alles aus Plaste, aber es macht insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Schon allein die Gummimanschette am Joystick... Ich bin begeistert. 400 EUR sind nicht wenig. Aus meiner Sicht lohnt sich das System, trotz des Preises, auf jeden Fall! Bereue den Kauf nicht. So, ich muss jetzt wieder auf den Acker!

I hesitated because of the many bad reviews. But i bought it, installed it. And played it around 20 hours now. It works as it should. Yes there was a problem with the steering wheel but the manufacturer came with a update so it solve the problem of the other reviewers. Its a bit of a puzzle to set it up. There is a pre setup but when you want to set the buttons the way you want it takes a bit of time but its worth it. Compared to the Logitech heavy bundle this is way better quality as far i used it.
