My 12-year-old started conditioning a couple weeks ago and full contact this week. He always hates the guards the league provides. He gets braces in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to find a mouthguard that would work most with them. He was so excited when he opened this one! He immediately loved the Warheads green apple flavor and thought it was way cooler than a plain mouthguard. I also like that there’s no boiling or molding—it was ready to use right out of the package. It seems comfortable, has plenty of airflow, and even comes with a tether if your league requires one. So far, we’re really happy with it, and it seems like a great option for kids who play sports and have braces or will be getting them soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great protection and breathability for braces We bought the Shock Doctor Kool Aid Lip Guard Mouth Guard for my son who wears braces, and it’s been excellent so far. The fit is snug and secure, and it stays in place during practices and games without sliding around — even when he’s talking or breathing hard. One of the biggest wins is the airflow design. It’s noticeably easier for him to breathe and communicate compared to other guards we’ve tried. That’s huge, especially during intense plays when normal mouth guards can feel restrictive. The material feels thick enough for solid protection without being overly bulky, and it hasn’t caused irritation around the lips or braces. After multiple uses and washings, it still holds its shape and hasn’t stretched out. My son loves this for football! It fits comfortable in his mouth and he can breathe well with it. The taste is great but the material doesn’t seem to last as long as I’d like. He does bite through it fairly consistently.

My 12 year old daughter does taekwondo and we tried this when she recently got braces. It smells really good - she states it takes more like rubber than raspberry but has a slight raspeberry taste. It fit easy and well. It's good for breathing especially while doing cardio. So far has done a good job protecting her teeth and thats what really matters.
