TINDTOP Hummingbird and Flower Embroidery Kit for Adults

I wanted to try my hand at embroidery so I looked for a kit that seemed comprehensive but not overwhelming. The butterfly 3-pack kit met that criteria. I love that the abundance of thread was already sorted onto the cards, and that it came with a whole multipack of needles in different sizes. The scissors were a nice bonus, but I already had some. The needle threader was missing the wire part and the seam ripper was missing the red guard, but I already had replacements in my other sewing notions, so that wasn't a problem. The kit also came with instructions on how to do the various stitches inside of each design page, and that's been super helpful for getting me started with the whole project. There is only plastic one hoop, but it's a really well-designed one that snugs your material down as you tighten the screw, and it's held tight as a drum through all the work I've done so far. Great kit with a nice, colorful design, good notions and reasonable instructions (the walk-through video on the product page was also quite helpful). Would highly recommend for anyone trying to get started embroidering, and will recommend for cousins or keep in mind as a gift for Christmas or birthdays in the future.

I really enjoyed the TINDTOP frog embroidery kit! It’s perfect for beginners, with clear instructions and all the materials included. The threads, needles, and fabric feel good quality, and the designs are cute and fun to work on. It’s a relaxing craft that helped me practice my stitching and build confidence in embroidery. Not beginner friendly, I would say it’s more intermediate. The thread is cheap but you get what you pay for. However, I plan on using my own thread. Fabric isn’t too bad and hoop is good quality. I really like the pattern. It’s a nice activity for someone who is familiar with embroidery and wants to mindlessly embroider.

So far I've the elephant. It is so cute. I used a satiny thread for flowers and leaves and used a different stitch. I also made stitches go in different direction to make different parts stand out better than having all the stitches on the elephant all going the same way. I just love it and can't wait to get it framed to put in my grandson's nursery room

I’ve completed all 3 pieces and enjoyed it very much! I changed some colors as there was plenty of thread to do so. In the process of incorporating them into a tote bag.

Purchased the kit as a fun unwind project. I have done some satin embroidery in the past but this kit involves doing some stitches I have not done before. The guide includes the description of color and the stitch type required, and the image guides of what the stitches should be like, but it might be easier to Google videos of the technique. Additionally, you have to learn yourself how to secure the thread with a knot at the start and end, but there are plenty of materials available online. So, overall, if you are an absolute beginner, this project will help you learn and probably your second or third embroidery will turn out better than the last. The designs are similar enough to practice but offer fun variations. If I wished for anything to improve, I wish the color / stitch guide picture was a bit larger. The current version asks for a magnifying glass. And of course, the caption "the time shuttle, taste the joy of handcrafts" was very close to leaving me in stitches (pun intended).

This is a set of fun patterns on clearly printed fabric with a colorful set of floss. That said, the hoop is misshapen plastic (see pic for example of it laying against my wooden one) the needles are HUGE for the design, the little snippy scissors are useless, and the instructions are poorly translated or unclear ("contour stich" is a stem stitch, "French bean" is a French knot, etc). Really nice if you have a bit of your own materials (hoop, needles, scissors, etc) and just want a clear pattern+colors to follow. Great for my purposes, but there are better kits out there for true beginners.

Good price, and the patterns are gorgeous. Will update when I start them.
