Silpin Gadgets Basic Rolling Pin (Red)

This is the best rolling pin that I have ever used. I make sugar cookies every year for Christmas and everyone always marvels at how thinly they're rolled - this rolling pin is the secret to my success. If you have one of these, and a silicone mat for rolling the dough out, you can't go wrong. I actually purchased this one as a wedding shower gift. Hopefully the bride to be (who is a baker too) will enjoy and use it as much as I have.

The vases are cute, sturdy and colorful. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my coworkers, with greens and holly berries from my yard. I thiught they would have been a little taller, but i am happy with the product. Judi

I purchased this for my sister, who is an avid baker. I have one of this company's earlier silicone rolling pins, and it is a good quality product. It is substantial and well made. I was expecting the same quality with this rolling pin. The quality has deteriorated. This rolling pin is small, and very lightweight. Made in China, of course. Ridiculous! This company also makes a baker's pin and a tapered French pin, both silicone. They are pretty decent. I would rather pay more money for a good quality product, that will give me the results I want, than to pay for crap.

I was disappointed that the metal on the sides is actually plastic. I was hoping for a heavier pin. It does, however, do its job.

LOVE this rolling pin! Doesn't stick at all to pie dough or noodle dough, etc. but I also have a silpin mat that I use with it. Perfect combo!

Wife wants to stay with wooden roller with fabric sleeve.....because her mother and grandmother had the same thing.

Use this roller several times, it does what is says it does and appreciate the heaviness of the material.
