The colour on this filament is absolutely gorgeous - a really vivid, eye-catching sky blue that photographs beautifully. It's one of those colours that genuinely stands out. I've had consistently good experiences with ELEGOO filament on my Ender 3, and this PLA+ is no exception. It prints reliably with no issues, good layer adhesion, and a nice finish. So far I've been using it as a contrasting colour on my Gridfinity bins and the results look fantastic - the blue really pops against other colours. The filament feeds smoothly, no tangles or quality issues with the spool, and it's been printing at my usual PLA+ settings without any adjustment needed. ELEGOO continues to deliver solid, dependable filament at a reasonable price point. I'm looking forward to using more of this roll - it's going to be perfect for any prints where you want that vibrant blue accent or a standout finished piece. Highly recommended if you want a colour that really makes an impact.

You are probably like me and go, wow that's a nice colour and well it is. First thing I wanted to print was a lovely elephant for the wife and it did come out quite nice. I was quite impressed. I had an issue with my prints which I needed assistance with I approached Elegoo to try and resolve the issue. They helped me test all the settings and check everything that can be done. Elegoo have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND what companies do and they really impressed me. Rest assure that if there is an issue, they will help, they will go through everything to help until your satisfied. Prints very easily, consistently and gives a nice satin sheen to prints. Strength appears to be greater than my usual PLA (although I haven't tested this scientifically). The light blue is a great colour and extremely vivid, I will definitely be buying more colours from the Elegoo PLA+ range.

Not much to say, nice shade of blue, sticks well and prints nicely out of my old Anet A8, quality product.

The filament arrived in a decent enough cardboard box and was vacuum sealed into a plastic bag with a pouch of desiccant. The spool is made from compressed cardboard and the edges are glued so it should be fine on edge rolling spool holders and in the bambulabs AMS. The winding on these elegoo spools is always impressive and as long as you don't let the end go loose you won’t encounter any tangles or snags. I popped open the plastic pouch it arrived in and gave the spool a quick look to see if I could find any issues, and there weren’t any immediate problems with this spool at all. As usual, the provided bag from Elegoo isn't resealable, so you’re on your own when it comes to longer-term storage. The filament on the spool is more or less what you get visually when printing it at a typical PLA temperature; it gets a little shinier after printing at 205c but otherwise it matches up well. The blue colouring is exactly what I expected when ordering a Sky Blue spool and it looks very similar to the product listing images, I have no complaints about the pigmentation or consistency. This is my third spool of FDM filament from Elegoo and the experience has been pleasant for the most part. The only negative I've experienced is that both of the black spools I received before this sky blue one had a fair bit of dust & debris on the outer windings of the spool. This spool of PLA+ had no contaminants from what I could tell, but it's harder to spot on lighter filaments. It's generally a smart idea to run a filament cleaner but it's especially important if you’re buying budget filaments that have a history of having debris on the outermost windings. The printing results are comparable with any decently made PLA filament and like most, it did have some stringing on my first print which may be attributed to the fact that it arrived with some moisture in the plastic. It wasn’t wet enough to steam or pop coming out of the nozzle at 205c but extruding into air does result in an uneven extrusion due to the expansion of the moisture in the filament. I’ve tried my best to take a photo to show the uneven extrusion due to the moisture on some 0.4mm strands, but my point is that you should be prepared to dry this filament, even with the claims of it being dried before packing. It stuck to the carborundum glass bed of the ender 3 neo max really well at 60c with a standard PLA z-offset, and there are no issues with layer adhesion from the couple of prints I've run with this spool so far. I didn’t even have to do any significant calibration or tweaking on my generic PLA filament profile, so the filament is well within tolerance. To verify the claim of +/- 0.02 mm, I broke out my micrometer and measured seven random points along the first 5 metres of filament and found that the claim appears to be true like the other two spools I’ve used. Even still, in addition to drying, I recommend you take the time to calibrate your extrusion multiplier or flow at the very least. I’d also strongly suggest tuning pressure/linear advance, temperatures, and retractions for any filament if you’re looking for the absolute best results. The only real fault I have with this particular filament brand is that this is the third one from the Elegoo that has arrived wet enough to cause stringing out of the box. I’m used to it and it doesn't bother me at all as I dry every spool on arrival, except for review ones like these. The problem I have is that they claim the spools are all dried before packing in the listing, which doesn’t seem to be the case. It won't be the best experience for new 3D printers, who aren’t aware that filament can even arrive wet. Just because the spool arrives in a vacuum sealed bag with desiccant means almost nothing.

It prints perfectly considering the amazing price.

A differenza di altri io mi sono trovato particolarmente male con questo filamento che ha caratteristiche molto diverse rispetto al PLA+ a cui sono abituato. Ha temperature di fusione più alte, più simili al PETG. Con l'azzurro cielo che ho acquistato, l'adesione è stata davvero peggiore rispetto a SUNLU e ho buttato davvero parecchie stampe prima di riuscire a trovare le impostazioni e modalità corrette per farlo aderire bene. Il colore è molto bello e uniforme, ma dopo tutti i problemi avuti non credo che ricomprerò ELEGOO
