Superior quality, casement window air conditioner which cools my entire top floor LA apartment on "LO." Electric bill also quite reasonable. I absolutely love it.

Awesome AC! I bought identical model 20 years ago and purchased another for foster child's room. A bit loud but cools the bedrooms to 62° in less than an hour. Expensive but need the vertical model and we can't sleep when it's above 80°.

I have a large family room and three smelly bulldogs… I definitely need an air purifier! Plus we are in pollen season, so every time I open the door, offensive yellow pollen comes blowing in! I vacuum constantly, but this air purifier definitely helps keep the air fresh & circulating. It’s got multiple adjustments and speeds, a timer, and you can watch the display to see it measuring the particles/air quality. It’s an impressive machine! Definitely recommend!

I haven't installed my air conditioner as of yet, but when unpacked and tested in my shop it produced legitimate cold air and, in my opinion and expectations, the noise level was completely acceptable. It's a very solid appliance from a longtime established and trusted manufacturer. This, along with a great price and rapid and caring customer support, has left me feeling very happy with my purchase and I would certainly recommend it as a good investment for what should be a hot summer ahead. UPDATE: I've put the air conditioner to work and it's a little workhorse. It easily keeps my space cool and I don't find the noise level to be more than would normally be expected. I'll know more after the summer wears on but for right now I'm feeling pretty good about my purchase.

This is a standard casement air conditioner, no better or worse than any of the other brands. Meaning, it's vintage 1990s technology, it won't last more than 3 years, it's inefficient, unpleasantly noisy (60-70 db, measured a few feet away on all 3 fan speeds), and requires that you use a dehumidifier along with it because it does nothing in that department. The 10K BTU version is noisy enough that you can't hold a conversation or watch TV in the same room if it's on, even on the low fan setting. The 8K BTU version is quieter. I went with that in another room because even though it's underpowered for the space, I preferred that to dealing with the noise. It cools it just fine. I only use this because I have no choice: the allowed A/C spaces in my historic coop apartment building windows are only 17" wide. Pleading with the manufacturers: please update this!!!!!! Inverter technology, quiet fans, better efficiency & dehumidification, split design....c'mon, you can do it!!!

This air conditioner is a solid unit. It works quite well cooling down my living room. The support hardware unfortunately didn't suit my install in a vinyl clad window, but I had anticipated this and ordered another support. The unit came damaged in shipping with a slightly bent top and some of the brittle front ribs cracked, but all I care about is if the unit functions. You cannot even see the damage after install. It blows nice cold air. The only thing I dislike is the poor protection for the rear condenser ribs. There is a cheap plastic net over the ribs that gives little protection, so for this price I'd expect something more substantial like a steel cage. The unit was shipped across the states from a New Jersey warehouse, so I was afraid of damage, but since it is in working order I am keeping it. Overall, I like the unit. Four stars.

I’ve had this model for years, multiple units. Bought two new ones from this seller and both were damaged. One made loud sounds (75 decibels, it’s supposed to be 54).

Cools great! Fits perfect. Looks nice. Love the remote. Noise is average. Excellent quality made. I use the energy saver and low speed, and the livingroom is very comfortable temperature even when over 90F outside. Easy install. Very happy with my purchase. I've had 2 other casement ACs over the past 30+ years in the same house, and this one has been the best!!!! Highly recommend this AC.

Very strong. The energy saver mode is the best! Keeps the room apartment cool and I don’t have to worry about it being overworked. Heavy as an elephant tho. Make sure you have help lifting this thing. Instructions are pretty confusing tbh and it took me longer to install than I’d like to admit. But still, I’m in love with it.

This air conditioner is awesome. It comes with absolutely everything you need, It even comes with a back panel for your window. A remote control... it's fantastic! My husband's was in shock as it cubes with everything you require to install!

Frigidaire is a great product. I live in a two bedroom apt. and find that the 10,000 BTU is more than enough. I maybe could have gone for the 8,000 BTU. But it is Amazon that I want to congratulate. On the four hottest dates this summer my old AC died. I ordered the new one and in less than 24 hours Amazon delivered it. Thank you Amazon.
