Quality build
Having seen previous buyers’ images I approached the assembly with caution. I took my time and started with the drawers to get a feel for the instructions. I used several different tools; a small cordless rotary tool for pilot holes (not necessary but helpful for me to keep the drawers square), an electric screwdriver, a ratchet screwdriver and a hammer. I am a pensioner with health issues so I built the drawers and the unit on my coffee table while sitting on my couch. I took my time, resting between drawer making and the unit assembly. It took about 6 hours but, I did not rush it, stopped for tea breaks and rests; it was hard to do but I don’t have much energy. The unit and drawers are solid wood, the back and drawer bases are hardboard. The drawers’ runners are made of MDF, unusual but very effective. The sliding of the drawers is smooth. I am very happy with the results of the two units I bought and built.

cheap build
it’s cheap quality and built better to avoid it will start cracking the wood while assembling as it’s made of pieces of wood glued together and haven after that will break like glass

low cost easy to assemble SOLID when built
This was very easy to assemble I'm 89 and it took me about 4 hours between tee breaks to complete it. I was concerned at first that this would not be very stable But I was wrong after fully assembled it's a strong rock free solid piece of furniture. I found when assembling the drawers to use the small piece of hardboard to line the long pieces with the draw sides and to use a small drill 1 to 2mm To make pilot holes in the end grain of the front and back of the draw to stop splitting, I also use wood glue on all the wooden pins and joints.

Hmmm, it's a pity that this falls at the first fence!
The bedside table came today and I took it up to the bedroom and unpacked it. First major problem, no instructions in the box. Took me a few minutes to figure out the various bits and pieces, and then plan how I would construct the cabinet. I started with the drawers, as they were pretty straightforward, and it removed a lot of items from the mix. Then, having finished the drawers, started on the carcase. Second problem, the holes for the pegs that held the drawer runners in place (augmented by screws) were not drilled correctly and in the wrong place at one end. Not just with one drawer runner but with all 6 drawer runners. I have no tools available to me at this time (apart from a Philips screwdriver) so was in a bit of a quandry as to how to get past this. I did have a pair of scissors and using them managed to cut down the wooden pegs a bit, enough to get them into the holes. Not ideal, but it worked. Got it all together and I must admit, it looks pretty good, although as yet, I do not have a hammer to drive the nails into place to hold the back board on, but still, it looks the part and is pretty stable and sturdy. All-in-all, not a bad deal, but I must say, that if you are not familiar with DIY and building flat-pack furniture, then pass this one by and look for something else, maybe prebuilt. Lack of instructions, mis-drilled/mis-placed construction holes, not ideal, and made for a interesting hour or so's work.

Some assembly issues but somewhat batting above it's station in looks and reasonable quality
Does manage to pull off the look of oak quite well given it's solid pine. Drawers work OK and if you take your time it's possible to have them spaced evenly and straight. This is where we lost a star - assembly. The instructions are reasonably clear but: - One screw missing (fine I have tons) - very easy to over tighten screws particularly on the drawer rails (and have them freely turning then-after) - would recommend wood glue as you go (dowels in particularly) to add strength - drawers were a bit painful as you'd fine there's no pre-drilled guide holes on the cross sections. Fortunately I used some quick grips to help me line up the pieces as best as I could to get even fitment. The drawer bottom is not square so make sure you check it's correct (only noticed on the last drawer so pretty lucky!). Again i've glued the drawers to make sure they last. - back and drawer bottoms is just ply as you'd expect at the price range so I wouldn't overload the drawers. - it does come with a wall retainer to stop it tipping which I'd recommend if you've got kids or are likely to put heavy items in it. I'm using it for hats/scarfs. - took about two hours to put together given I like to take my time and get things square as poss. - packaging a bit damaged but nothing was inside

It is easy to assemble
Some people are saying g that it is missing some holes . All you have to do is screw the screws into the wood that has no holes. The screw will fit really tight and you will get a solid fit with no loss bits. Just follow the instructions. It is a really nice chest of drawers. I would recommend buying the item. I am happy with my chest of drawers.

Really poor quality.
Unfortunately, like others have stated, this chest of drawers had broken parts; the top and both sides had major cracks. I decided not to return it, but to use wood clue to fix it as best as was possible. The finished drawers look good (as long as you don't look closely!), it is just a shame the product is so fragile.

Very cute side tables. They are a little short for how tall our bed is, so we purchased 10cm legs to put underneath the tables to make them taller.
