Your feet will thank you every day for them!
Balega socks are out of this world comfortable!!! Not only meant for working out or walking, which they are great for! Also great for every day use! They provide extra padding and make every shoe feel more comfortable! The snug fit makes your feet feel like they are being massaged! I love the colors and designs that they have! Get rid of those old socks and switch to these bad boys! Your feet will thank you every day for them!

Soft, supportive, and durable.
We are huge fans of Balega socks! While these are definitely pricey compared to other brands, we feel they are worth the price--especially if you can snag them on sale or with a Lightening Deal. As (less frequent) runners and people who like logging 10,000 plus steps in theme parks, our socks are important. These socks are the perfect blend of comfort and style. I love the added compression around the arches and the lip on the heel to prevent them sliding down into my shoe. My husband's favorite feature is the silver keeps them fresher than 'normal' socks. They are thicker than many socks, so they tend to last quite a bit longer which helps to justify the price. Definitely recommend if you spend a lot of time on your feet or are logging miles running/walking.

OMG, I love these socks!!!!!
OMG, I love these socks!! So soft, full of great color, stretchy and fits my feet perfectly (I wear a women's size 12 medium shoe and these are large size socks). They are worth spending a few extra dollars for a favorite pair of socks.

This is the only brand of sock for running I think I want to ever buy
First I have to disclose that this is a really uneducated review. I run in sweat pants and order shoes online and when I say run it's more of a muppet jog so I don't really know what my sporting clothes options look like. I didn't even know running socks were thing till I started to get blisters and the internet told me to try running socks. But I don't get blisters now, they don't bunch up, they cover my heel where it's prone to blisters, and my feet somehow feel drier after I run. So these seem GREAT to me! But I don't know, maybe smarter runners would just think staying in place and not giving blisters in the least a sock can do. I might be overly excited based on my inexperience with proper running socks. Also, when I was trying to find socks to buy I was reading reviews and saw that people also reviewed them for how long they can go without being washed and still not stinking. That sounds really weird cause if you run in socks you should just right away wash them, ammiright? That's always been my philosophy but, you know, I read those reviews so I had to try and it turns out, up to 4 runs before they get stinky. Maybe more but 4 is my psychological limit, I can't go longer than that. I just can't. But it really is an amazing trick in a sock, so if that matter to you, know that they really stay fresh in your show and then your closet and then your shoe again for a really long time. I tried some other brands too, that are also ok, but I find that socks in this brand just feel to me like they are less hot, and hold their shape better, than the others.

Premium Comfort, Predictable Lifespan, High Cost
I own about 12 pairs of Balegas accumulated over three years. After extensive use, a few consistent patterns emerge. Performance: - Fit and Compression: Tight, particularly around the toes—closer to a half-size small. I recommend sizing up. A medium was too tight and had to be donated. - Thickness and Protection: Thicker than comparable brands (Danish Endurance, Timberland), particularly at the heel and toe. Excellent for impact protection, which makes them suitable even for boots and heavier shoes. - Moisture Wicking: Strong but not dramatically superior to other high-performance options; notably better than standard polyester blends. Durability: - Real-world lifespan is 12–18 months. Thread splitting typically begins around the 10–12 month mark, with large holes appearing by month 14. - Even after major wear, ribbing and arch support areas often remain intact, keeping the socks usable for lighter use. - Shoe fit likely impacts wear rate—friction points accelerate breakdown more than general fabric fatigue. - No real apparent decline of quality with washing (always cold, medium or gentle cycles, and low-heat drying) Cost Considerations: - Balegas are expensive relative to competitors. Cost-per-wear is roughly double compared to brands like Danish Endurance or Timberland. - I ultimately supplemented my rotation with Danish Endurance ultra-thin running socks—less flashy, but at nearly half the cost. Verdict: Balegas deliver superior fit, comfort, and targeted protection, but at a premium. If maximum softness, cushioning, and a perfect running fit matter most, they’re worth it. If cost-per-use and longevity are your priorities, Perhaps look elsewhere.

Comfortable and tight
These socks hug the foot closely and have a moderate thickness. I am a very broad footed runner, and these would definitely be to small if I ran them through the dryer. They are very comfortable underfoot. They are very warm, though. These, for me, are more of a mid-fall through late winter sock because of how warm they are.

Esperaba más de este producto
El producto presentó fallas en las costuras, esperaba mucho más de esta marca y sus productos. No creo que aguantaran una media maratón como estoy acostumbrado. Una lástima los tuve que regresar, sin poder estrenarlos.
