Loki : Season 1 [4K UHD]

The Loki series is excellent. Sadly Marvel/Disney did not make available a standard HD DVD set for Region 1 so I'm hoping this is Blu-ray Region A, and not 4k/HD, My Sony Blu-ray first gen DVD player can only handle standard HD and standard 1080p Blu-ray discs. The tin is nice but is honestly over-kill as a package. I don't know why other than to charge more for two DVDs Disney has moved to having all their streaming series (all of which seem to be ~ 6 episodes two discs) to these collector's TINs rather than a two disc tray blue plastic DVD case. But the series is awesome. I feel like Disney is wishing fans would not request physical media. I have 24 films over 12 years of the MCU, all came as HD or a combined HD/Blu-ray/DigitalDownloadCode format, but at some point that format and package went away and all we have are these tins. Season 2 is ONLY 4K/HD Blu-Ray so if you only have a standard Blu-ray player, Season 2 will NOT play on your device. I don't understand that choice by Disney where the two seasons are on two different formats, it makes no sense.

A great entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon. Loki is back and he’s as good as ever. More anti-hero than hero. The time traveling storyline is fun. AQ and PQ are typical for a Marvel production IOW looks very good.

Great! Now let's get season 2 on Blu-ray, instead of trying to force me to buy a whole new machine to watch it without Disney+

Loki: Season 1 is a fantastic addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Blu-ray quality is excellent, with stunning visuals and clear audio that make the viewing experience enjoyable. The series itself is full of twists and turns that keep you hooked, and the character development is top-notch. The bonus content, including behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and commentary tracks, is very informative and adds to the overall experience, but I wish there were more of them. Highly recommend for any Marvel fan! LOVE the steel book!

I guess this is my fault but I ended up with the bluray rather than the 4k. Didn't even realize there was a bluray of this as I'd only seen marketing for the 4k, the packaging looks almost identical and there wasn't an option to change format on the Amazon page so I thought that was all there was. After I got it and realized I actually was able to find the real 4k but not through searching or switching format, but rather as customers bought after viewing this item thing. I'm gonna stick with the bluray since I'm not looking to drive an hour to go to a UPS store to do a return and I'm sure the bluray will look good enough. That being said it's pretty disappointing that my season 1 will not match season 2 because I'm definitely not making this mistake twice whenever that comes out. Packaging is beautiful on the bluray and just as good as the 4k in that regard. The art cards are cool.

I love having a physical copy of my media I love. On top of that we get a steelbook as well. Lokiis one of the best Marvel titles to come out in recent memory and I love that they decided to put out a physical copy for everyone. I can’t wait for season 2 to release on Blu-ray as well. Now I can enjoy it with our without a stable internet connection. Having a Blu-ray works amazing on camping trips in the RV. Just pop it into the player and we can watch some tv before bed!

With Loki fans in the household, this DVD box set in a smart tin case is great. Product was delivered to Australia ahead of schedule. Our household has a multi-regional DVD player, so DVDs from the USA are no problem. The DVDs may not play in Australia if you own a DVD player purchased in Australia.
