Works great, slow but does get the job done in a few sessions.
This thing works great, but it is a bit slow and can be tiring as other commenters noted. I used it on a pair of 5 inch stumps with a battery powered angle grinder and about 5 minutes with this left my 8Ah battery nearly drained and the grinder almost too hot to hold. No issues with this disc, it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Go slow with it and it's easier on your hands even if it doesn't feel like it's doing anything

Beast -- great for rough shaping.
This thing chews through wood like I hoped it would. Great for saving tons of time on rough shaping before finish work. I used it on a battery powered grinder and it had plenty of cutting power. Be safe.

Does the job... IF you've got time...
PROS: o Inexpensive option for stump grinding CONS: o None NEUTRALS: o Takes time... which I expected but didn't fully appreciate how much time WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND: Yes, with the caveat about how long it takes Got this as a way to grind a stump in my sister's back yard. The approximately 3 foot diameter white pine tree had been removed over 10 years ago, leaving approximately a 6 inch high stump, so I expected it would grind relatively quickly. When I began grinding, part of it was quite deteriorated and went fairly quickly... but part of it was still in quite a remarkably unrotted state, and that went much less quickly. It *will* get the job done, with sufficient time, but I haven't resumed my efforts yet. For smallish tree stumps, say up to maybe 6 inches, it would probably be doable in one session. Of course, the height of the stump and the type of tree will also factor in. Bottom line: It *will* do the job, just be prepared to spend some time doing it. And I suppose the angle grinder will also wear out eventually... or at least need the brushes replaced, if it takes too long.

Works as advertised.
Works great! Larger stumps may take a while to get level with the ground, but this little gem will do the job if you’re in no hurry!

Annoying roots
I have some annoying live oak roots that have surfaced and I need something to grind them down. This was the answer. It works much better than trying to use the concrete grinder attachments like you see other people doing on youtube. Yes I know the surface roots shouldn't be ground but they were being hit by the mower blade and the tree was damaged during the last hurricane and is going to be taken out anyways. It will take a little bit of time if you have a big root to grind though. The quality of the blades seems to be holding up so far and I didn't have any issues fitting it to my cheap harbor freight grinder. Highly recommend this if you don't want to rent a stump grinder for small tree stumps or roots.

Doesn't fit on DeWalt
I does not fit on my DeWalt angle grinder. The drive screw is too short and the DeWalt lock washer is too large to sit down in this disc.

It's a beast
This thing is a beast and grinds stumps like they are nothing. It was the only thing that worked on mesquite wood.

stump grinders
this is a great little tool for getting rid of small stumps up to 8 inches the teeth last a long time and can be touched up when they get a little worn out but it does take a bit to sharpen them cause they are really hard.

Wood grinder.
Had to cut a groove in some barn beams and this worked well to clean it out. Make sure you hold the grinder tight especially if there are knots in the wood.
