Crystal Deodorant Spray, Potassium Alum Mineral Deodorant, 4.2 fl oz 2-Pack

I got this and another natural deodorant for my young children because they STUNK! I talked to their pediatrician because they are WAY too young to be stinking that bad. He wasn’t worried about the stink, just said get some natural deodorant and put it on them after they shower/bathe. When we got the 2 deodorants my husband and I tried the other one on a part of our inner forearm first and I’m glad we did! IT BURNED! Like almost immediately the other one was very irritating to our skin and also left a yellow stain on it even after we wiped it off. This deodorant is a solid salt stick/stone. You wet the stick/stone and rub that on your underarms. My husband and I again tried this one on our inner forearms to make sure it wouldn’t burn, and it just felt like we were rubbing water on them. No irritation whatsoever. So that night we tried it on the kiddos. AND IT WORKED! And their skin was just fine, no complaints! I even tried it on myself a few times, just to see if it’d work on adult BO. Now I’m not a super stinky person. I don’t necessarily shave my underarms every day, more like every 2 or 3 days and they barely ever sweat, but I’m still an adult and still need to keep up with my hygiene. I usually use suave sweet pea cuz I like the scent. I tried this for myself and it works on grown ups too! No irritation even after shaving. It’s a little different though because there’s literally no scent. Like not even the “unscented” smell. Actually no scent to it. My husband did not try it one bit, but I think he’s gonna wear degree sport til the day he dies. But also I’m not sure how well it would work on him since he sweats a good deal more than I do. So if you’ve made it this far through this crazy review I’ll give pros and cons Pros: no irritation, no burning, even on freshly shaved skin, even on little kids sensitive skin. Completely scentless. Cons: completely scentless(some people may want a scent), must have a water source to wet the stick, may not work with thick underarm hair or on people who sweat a lot under their arms. One last thing I want to note is this is 100% potassium alum, which is a type of aluminum. I will let you do your own research and come to your own conclusions on whether or not this product is right for you based off that info, but I found for myself and my kids I’m ok with using this. I’m pretty sure my kids have a dairy allergy and that’s why their pits stink, so I don’t use this deodorant on them every day, just when I know they’re either gonna have dairy or have in the last few days.

Update - 08-30-2018 I wanted to update my experience that I went for camping and had to stay without shower for 2.5 days. I didnt sweat woohoo 🙌 🎉 Another thing that I want to point out is about the biology of our body. There are days that I sweat irrespective of how well I have appoed the deodorant. I think it’s something to do with the chemistry/biology or hormones of our body. But other than those irritating days, this stone works like a charm ⭐️ ———————- Old review This is a great great stone. I am on my second one now. I bought one last year but lost it while traveling last month. This stone deodorant helps minimize sweat and controls odor - I should rather say NO sweat and body odor. I mean I wear it in the morning after shower and workout next early morning and I don’t sweat and stink. Well that’s fabulous!! No other deodorant has done that for me. It is decently priced and a simple product which is so easy to use. It’s true when they say that this stone will last you 2 years. I had to get my second one as I said I lost my first Deo stone. Love it and I am so happy I found it. I have tried those expensive brands Donna Karan, Clinique in the range in $30-40 but have been disappointed. Make sure you apply it right - by right I mean apply vigorously, go back and forth 7-8 times or more if need be and let it dry before you put on your clothes. It dries up pretty quickly 👍👍👍

First of all thank you to all the companies that contribute to make The Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone, it has been my go-to for years, and for good reason! it’s gentle, effective, I dont smell bad, and completely free of aluminum chlorohydrate and harmful chemicals. It doesn’t irritate my skin like some conventional deodorants, and it’s so simple to use! Just wet the stone with water before applying it. This step is essential, so if you’re new to crystal deodorants, don’t forget it—it’s not the company’s fault if it doesn’t work dry! While I love this product, I must admit these stones are quite small compared to other brands I’ve purchased. For the price, I’ve found larger versions that last even longer, so I may go for a bigger size next time. That said, these are still an excellent option for anyone looking for an affordable, natural deodorant. What makes this even better is its versatility. I’ve even used it on bug bites to help with itching, and it works wonders! Just be careful not to drop the stone, as it can break. Overall, this crystal deodorant is a hassle-free, long-lasting, and skin-friendly investment, though I’d recommend considering larger sizes if you want even more value. I was super skeptical that a piece of crystal would do anything, but it actually does! I had been using a rotation of various "all natural" deodorants that kinda work but still left me a little stank by the end of the day. I bought this on a whim (and because I needed to feed my Amazon addiction which leaves me sweaty and nervous if I haven't bought anything new in 2-3 days), received it and put it on. Day 1 I was unimpressed - by the end I still had that unwelcome BO smell. Day 2 I tried it again, but this time rather than just 2-3 passes under each arm, I applied it a bit more vigorously, going back and forth 6-7 times. At the end of that particularly hot and humid day I took a whiff and smelled...nothing. It worked! I guess that's my key - going back and forth a few times more than I normally would with regular deodorant. The one-two punch of Sweat Block every 2-3 weeks and this daily has made me confidant and dry. I'm still not convinced it's any healthier than any other deodorant (natural doesn't necessarily mean healthy), but for the time I'm happy to ignore the lack of studies and just enjoy being funk-free!

I like the product. But, the sprayer does not work after a few uses. I have to pour into my hand to apply it under my arms. I hope the sprayers would improve. Meanwhile I am looking for a replacement to buy.

So me and my wife share an Amazon account, and she tends to look around for new products to try. She bought this on a whim, and said I could try it as well. Now, I'm a rather warm-blooded guy and I sweat easy, so I was kind of skeptical that this would work slightly, if at all. It works. It works REALLY well. Seriously, no odor/scent from it, and after working a full 8 hours in a 78 degree building constantly bending and twisting and climbing around (not super labor intensive but still enough for me to sweat up a storm), I checked myself. Nothing. No stink, no smell, just... Armpit. PROS: - It works. - The design is nice. - Super easy to use. - Seems like it'll last MUCH longer than regular deodorant. CONS: - At $10-$13, it's a bit of an investment if you buy cheap deodorant. It pays itself off with how long it lasts though. - There's no sensation of there being anything on your armpits if you're used to it, which can be kind of odd to some, myself included. Not a problem now that I've gotten used to it! Overall, glad my wife purchased it, will definitely be getting another in the future.

The stones are great but too small

I was struggling to find a deodorant as they would make me sweat more than not wearing anything. I remember trying the crystal before years ago, but this is the first time I actually committed to use it. I’m really happy. I don’t sweat much with it, and when I do I don’t smell. It was never a problem of mine until recently when I couldn’t find my usual deodorant anymore. This is an amazing substitute and really small and compact. The plastic around it doesn’t work in the long run as the crystal starts to wear off and falls out, and it’s not as versatile as a regular deodorant because in order to use it you always need a sink around. But overall I’m really happy.

Excellent product which is natural but works better than any chemical product I’ve tried and does not mark clothing. I only use 2 sprays under each arm and think I could actually only use one it is so good. The crystals in the bottle sometimes clog up the spray but shaking the bottle upside down or running the nozzle under a hot tap usually clears it. I needed an aluminium free spray after my sister was told by her breast cancer surgeon to avoid aluminium completely ! I would definitely recommend this product which lasts for ages - my last bottle lasted for a whole year !

Been using 1st stick (twin pack) for 2 months+ and it's barely worn, compare that to cost of spray deodorant for same period! Just remember to dip in warm water before application or use straight after shower while still damp. No residue on clothing, t-shirt still smells fresh at end of day. Frankly 'am gobsmacked. No more chemical being absorbed, especially aluminium (found accumulated in Alzheimer victims brains, according to reports I've read). Update: Just started using 2nd stick .... 11 months later! Talk about cost effective lol! Never stained any clothes, can last 2 days if not particularly active.

It's nothing but a lime stone... buy that from a local store. no point in buying such expensive stuff.

I gave too many squirts in order to make sure I got total coverage. This meant it ran down my chest and arm. I also had to allow a bit more time for it to dry. It worked very well I’ve been getting irritation under my arm pits and after just a few days this cleared up. There was no signs of body odours either so it was highly effective!
