Armor SX5000 WB Water-Based Silane-Siloxane Sealer for Concrete, Brick, Pavers, Stone - Matte Concrete Sealer - 1 Gallon

Wonderful product with clear instructions. After pressure washing my concrete patio and driveway, applied a total of 6-gallons (2 coats). I kept a 9” microfiber roller with extension on hand to manage any puddling (minimal) from the sprayer. After a day, the concrete is noticeably SEALED and fabulous to walk on and sweep and hose off dirt and debris. I have a bit of OCD when it comes to a clean outdoors and this product is worth every cent!

Bought and used 7gallons of this product. Sprayer broke so I rolled the concrete around my pool and it darkened a little bit, but looks really good. came out even in color all around. I then cleaned my front drive and sidewalk and sprayed them one coat (ran out of product - had to buy more). Rolled the 2nd coat as the first had light/dark colors - and still does even after rolling. And it didnt help that it rained immediately after I completed rolling on the 2nd coat. I hope it absorbed in anyway. My concrete is 46 years old, so I think its more porous in some places than others which may be causing the dark spots, but it really seems to be due to the spray pattern - just cant tell. I do recommend this product so far. I have no idea if it will last the 7-10 years it claims. A previous product I had used lasted around 3.5 years, but it was not a commercial grade product (eagle satin). Heres to hoping this works as advertised and keeps the concrete clean!(er) UPDATE - After hurricane Helene moved thru, left a lot of leaf debris on the driveway. I removed it after brewing in the rain for 3 days, and concrete is stained pretty badly from the leaves. Will continue to monitor, but previous brand Eagle did not allow staining at all. Will report back if stains lift over time with additional rain and sun.

I replaced an asphalt driveway with concrete at significant expense. I researched how to seal the concrete and found Foundation Armor SX5000WB. My experience with this sealant is positive. - I applied the sealant with the HDX 2 Gallon Multi-Purpose Lawn and Garden Pump Sprayer. I was going to purchase a more expensive DeWalt two gallon sprayer, but I called their support line and was told that this chemical is not recommended in their sprayer. The HDX sprayer has an apparently high failure rate per its reviews, but the unit's low cost meant that needing two of them to finish the job wasn't a significant contributor to the total cost of the project. Concrete is expensive. For the record, the HDX sprayer did the job. - I applied two coats. The instructions with the sealant say to wait 10-15 minutes between coats. The new concrete absorbed the first coat so quickly that it appeared "dry" in places within 2-4 minutes. As work progressed I shortened the interval between coats to about five minutes. This worked very well. - Coverage was about 175 square feet/gallon, in line with the manufacturer's stated coverage. - The sealant pools easily, especially the second coat. I used paper towels to dab excess away as needed. - The sealant didn't change the color of the driveway. - The performance of this sealant is simply astonishing. Prior to application of the sealant, water would be absorbed by the porous concrete, which would become very dark when wet. After application, water beads and pools on top of the sealant and the concrete barely changes color. The seal on top of the concrete is so good that in cool weather and limited sunlight, water may still be pooled on the driveway 2-3 *days* after rainfall. - The only drawback is that leaves that fall onto the wet-for-a-long-time driveway have turned into tea leaves. I have leaf prints all over the driveway. <shrug>. I can live with that. I'm going to use this stuff to seal my 70-year-old chimney. It's great.

Price not bad either comparing to the competition but the reviews and results far better than all the others. To me worth the extra few dollars per gallon. Product was well described, perfectly described as far as application (EASY) and results. We’ll see if the seven year minimum holds up, but have no doubt we definitely buy it again Actually miss calculated what I needed so would be ordering a few more gallons this week considering what i needed (2 coats recommended) for a walkway, paver coating can’t go wrong definitely highly recommend it

I bought the water base sealer and applied it to my concrete griffen statues.These are made from concrete but becuase of the deatil in them they are not finshed to a perfectly smooth surface as is a driveway,at first I noticed the water was absorbing into the conrete in much of the areas,leaving only some water beads.I tested the surface with water spray 24 hours after i applied it.however,if I had waited one more day,I would have seen the water beaded up more.It needed more time to dry.I did apply a coat of the solvent base sealer over the water base and this really made a difference.now its 100 % protected and water is beading up everywhere.NO water absorbtion at all now.This stuff is awesome,Customer service guys explained everything to me.I had a very porus concrete material that acted like a spong sucking this stuff up.But I think the key here is waiting at least 48 hours for it to dry and depending on your surface you have it may require an extra coat so it fills up all the tiny holes.Im sure a concrete driveway would require much less of this product becuase the surface is much smoother and finished making for much less absorbtion.a great sealer.worth the cost.the customer sercice was incredibly helpful and stood by their product in every way and were a pleasure to deal with.I will buy from them again.great choice,IM super happy,thank you

This product is incredible. In florida I have to power wash the concrete walkways 2-3 times a year to remove the algae, fungus and other fauna that grows in the wet humid conditions. This year i applied the Armor product in April and the concrete looks like I just power washed it. I was easy to use, keeps the water from penetrating and the fauna from growing. It is expensive but very effective and I will be applying to more concrete next spring.
