Q: Have there ever been a rust issue?

They can and DO rust on the underneath lip. I just noticed this! Purchased this pan 10-2022 and it may be used once per month. We hand wash and allow to air dry. Guess I will have to now oven dry them even though the rust is now there. Disappointed.

Q: When using this pan to make a pumpkin roll is it best to use parchment paper with it??

I'd think using parchment paper would certainly make clean up and rolling the cake easier. Certainly not required. Feel free to contact USA Pan to follow up with them for more information on this product. Wish I could share information because I have baked ------- unfortunately, I'm just the seller of this product. However.....it is one of our most loved products by our customers. I receive nothing but positive comments from those that have purchased pieces. Heavy duty and made in the USA.

Q: can you put this item in the dishwasher or does it discolor like aluminum pans do?

I wouldn’t put in dishwasher....it is super easy to clean by hand and still looks like new

Q: Will this work for oven french toast?

It's completely oven safe and I use it regularly at 425 degrees so I don't see why you couldn't use it for French toast.
