Installed these in a chandelier and they give off a warm, classic glow. The filament style looks great in open fixtures. Dimming works smoothly without flickering on compatible switches. Great light and a reasonable cost
These little bulbs illuminate without any delay once they are switched on and really throw out a LOT of lumens! the bulbs do dim without any flickering. Only minor problem (and I dont know whether it is the bulb or my dimmer) but even on the lowest dimmer setting the bulbs remain quite bright.

Great light bulbs. They do not flicker when you dim them. Work great in my ceiling fans.

Been using these for years
These bulbs work great both indoors and out. Be aware that the glass may separate from the base after long term exterior use... even in an enclosed lantern fixture.
