This is a great quality UV clarifying bulb that works at top efficiency.

Got this to replace the bulb on our "CNZ All-in One Pond Filter System with 13W UV Sterilizer 660 GPH Pump Fountain Kits." So far it has been working great. I was nervous when I first installed it, because I could not see the bulb light up, but apparently most such pumps have a safety switch that prevents the light from turning on unless it is installed in its sealed casing, as UV radiation can cause eye damage. I couldn't see anything coming from the CNZ's observation window either, which made me even more nervous. But the good news is that the bulb must be working because the water in our 100 gallon pond is crystal clear now.

Item works well but only last 6 months

Arrived on time and a good price. Had trouble getting the electrical prongs fully seat into filter receptical. After about an hour it finally went in. Seems to be working ok.

Bought on May 17th installed it abouta week later and last week the bulb stopped working! Very upsetting! They should at lease last a hole summer!! Do not recommend at all!!

I use this this lamp in my backyard pond and it operates 24/6 (I turn it off one day a week to add beneficial bacteria supplements) This product failed on my after just 4mos of use and I had to replace it. My expectation is that it lasts at least the whole year. Update: Same issue, but now it lasted for less than 1 month. These bulbs are inexpensive but for some reason they fail quickly, so you'll end up using more (and generating more hazmat)

Why did you pick this product vs others?: All I have to really say is this did fit my ultraviolet submergible filter, but don’t make a mistake I did. I had left it in the water after the bulb was burned out. It was in there for three years and most of that time it worked. I ordered the bulb first and then took it out to clean it And that was my mistake. It wasn’t terribly dirty, but getting the lightbulb out of the old socket proved to be quite difficult. I did manage though, but the glass covering sleeve that goes over the bulb accidentally fell off my bathroom sink and busted, and therefore rendered my ultraviolet Device useless. I only gave it three stars because I have no idea how long that bulb would’ve lasted. I ended up ordering a totally brand new unit which I probably should’ve done from the beginning, but I’m keeping the bulb because it’s not worth the hassle sending it back plus, I will be more careful if it happens again and need to install the bulb.

My deck pond gets strong sun for a good part of the day and was very green from a previous replacement bulb that burned out within days. So far so good on this one and I can see right to the bottom of the pond now. I will be ordering more to keep on hand.

Put aside for when the globe I installed needs replacing. Good price.

I bought, but i didn't get any product support

Replaced UV bulbs in 2 Laguna Pressure Flow pond filter systems (1000 & 2000 models). Both use a 13w UVA bulb with G23 base. Works great and you would need a lengthy search to find a better price. Recommended buy.

What happens is over time the filter lets water inside the light and it doesn’t work anymore. So I keep buying lights and I don’t even know if it lasts more than a day before the water gets in.
