Elle coud correctement les tissus épais à condition de "jouer" avec le pied de biche comme indiqué dans le manuel d'utilisation en français qu'il faut réclamer par mail à Singer, ce qui n'est pas pratique. L'enfileur d'aiguille fonctionne bien et le placement de la canette est facile (contrairement à ma précédente machine Brother). Grande variété de points. Je trouve qu'elle coud bien. Pour la solidité, on verra car l'adjectif "heavy" dans la référence de la machine est usurpé, celle-ci n'étant pas lourde du tout, étant majoritairement en plastique.

Excellent purchase.
It doesn't come with a manual. So if you're not an experienced sewer download the manual when order is confirmed. Apart from that I love the machine and the new features. It's the second heavy duty machine I've bought but this was an upgraded one with computer technology. The basic one is also great for beginners who want to use denim or quilting. But use Singer needles in the right number as cheap ones don't penetrate the fabric well. But, I'd definitely get another in the heavy duty range as it fully meets my quilting needs.
