Sperry Men's A/O 2-eyeOxfords

Excellent boat shoes. Bought them about a month before a sailing holiday to break them in. Just got back from that holiday and can happily recommend them. The heel was a little painful at first due to an overlap of leather - I wore socks with them until the holiday. Tried them without socks while away and have no heel issues any more. Now they are broken in they are very comfortable. That said, if I was going on a long walk with them I would still wear socks to avoid potential blisters. With no-show socks no one even sees them anyway.The laces tend to stay tied better than other leather laces have done with other makes of boat shoe. The shoes take longer to dry than my previous pair of Timberland boat shoes however the Sperrys are more of a firm leather than the Tims (which were more of a soft nubuck leather). After a complete soaking in the sea they took about a day to dry. Not too bad really. Overall, these boat shoes have the classic look, they are well made, and once broken in they are comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.

Ottime d’estate per tutte le esigenze: barca, spiaggia,passeggio, …..,..comode fresche. Da indossare senza calzini.

Echtes Leder. Hervorragende Sohle. Sehr gute Verarbeitung. Vielleicht der beste Schuh, den ich jemals getragen habe. Den werde ich wieder kaufen bis ich von dieser Welt gehe. Am Anfang ist er vorne eng - ein guter Schuh muss etwas eingetragen werden. Das geht schnell. Ich hatte keine Druckstellen, oder ähnliches.

Prodotto nello standard del produttore ad un buon prezzo, peccato che mi è stato consegnata una taglia 42.5 invece che 42 e un marrone diverso. Il bello è che sulla scatola delle scarpe le informazioni sono corrette, ma all'interno il prodotto è diverso. Altro problema le scarpe non le cambiano, ma le puoi solo restituire (gratuitamente) attendendo il rimborso.

Ver nice Speery (frat boy) shoes, but seem to run about .5-1 size large. I had to buy insoles to make them fit better- helped a lot. Very comfortable soft leather that gets better with age. These shoes are for my son who wears a size 14 or 15! Not easy to find shoes for him, but these are a winner after we put the thick odor eaters inside them (serves a dual purpose- ha!) He wears these barefoot, which looks better than with socks in my opinion. You can get those no show footies- they look like ballerina socks- not real manly though for my college aged son!

My husband is happy with these, his first pair of Topsiders. They were a tad bit wide but we tightened the laces all the way around and were able to make them fit. He wears them without socks for several hours most days of the week and they broke in quickly. They're not really intended for you to stand or walk in all day, but they're great for puttering around town or the house. They're a nice compromise between sandals vs. shoes-and-socks.
